I have stayed before so I know that your rooms are lovely,airy,warm & comfortable.I like the decor & view of the gardens. Usually good value.In a quiet location some distance away from the town centre,but with a couple of local shops & pubs within walking distance.

I understand that there is always a pre-warning about the fact that the hotel is a party & wedding venue & this is the first time that I’ve fallen foul of this.It was the first time I’ve paid more for my room than previously & the first time I have been on the ground floor.There was a wedding & my room was right next to/among all the celebratory rooms so it was noisy until midnight.I just thought it would have been better to put wedding guests in that room & me further away!However,I did book late…. I am just reporting,not complaining

The interior was very morden and nice. Colour combination and Interior decoration is very clean. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of options, checkin and checkout process was very smooth. Probably the fastest I have ever encountered.

Breakfast buffet should have had a hot plate section with a chef making eggs on demand. The scrambled eggs and sunny side up were made and placed in food warms which I didn't enjoy as much to be honest. The scrambled eggs were getting socked in steam water from the food warmer cover and also sticking together from setting there a while.

The staff were amazing. Skye was so welcoming on our first day and it just flowed on from there. I can’t remember everyone's name but all were so accomodating. Food was excellent. Room was lovely.

Very noisy from a function held on our first night. Carpet on stairs leading to rooms needs cleaning. Dirt impression is so important.

3 Clean towels, clean bedding, the clothes hanging units - very basic and clever. Black out curtains were a huge bonus, too. Tea coffee facility good too. Staff were lovely

We expected a double bed but got single beds , when i asked why told all doubles gone , only one lift seemed to work

It was clean but very old outdated inside bathroom could have done with a refresh but even though it is a budget price accommodation rooms felt very dull and tired little noise from the trains and noise from bottles from the pub at back

Bathroom very poor. The worst was when I opened the room window first floor and this is what I was greeted with as the rubbish below. There is no excuse for this and it will bring in vermin. I know these places get issues with seagulls but all this rubbish appears to be in shopping trolleys where it should be in lidded skips. I did not complain direct to the hotel as staff were at an absolute minimum. I also believe I could smell the odour from this rubbish the following morning with the window open.
