The hosts were great at communicating and so welcoming. I suffer from anxiety and had forgotten to pack my chamomile tea so the host even went out to buy me some! The Guest House is sooooo lovely - just like the pictures and very clean. Parking is ok as you can park for free on a side road that's less than a 2 minute walk away. Excellent value for money... especially for 4 people going out to the 02 as it's only a 10 -15 minute drive. We would all stay here again and have nothing but good things to say.

Little Barn was ideally situated in the heart of the rural Dorset countryside. It was very quiet and Clare was very friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. It was perfect for a couple of nights stay for two people, who just needed a bed for the night and somewhere to freshen up, in a lovely shower with plenty of hot water.

A few minor tweaks would improve the accommodation. Don't go expecting a fully functioning modern kitchen because there are only essential items but enough to manage a hot drink and some toast for breakfast. Some kind of worktop with a small hotplate for making a cooked breakfast or snack would be excellent, if we were to be really picky. A very minor issue (but surprisingly, very common) would be to include a shelf in the shower.

I liked that although the hotel is a bit far from the city center, it is close to the different bus and train stations in the area. The room was very comfortable, the staff was very friendly and the cleanliness of the room was the highlight.

Breakfast not included despite saying that it was in booking.com website, £5 to park missed off as well. Tiles on the floor of bathroom in poor condition, TV faulty, lacklustre room style, telephone didn’t work, bed duvet was lumpy and looked excessively worn.
