The location was great for the Utilita Arena. The room was cosy, but 2 adults and a teen child were comfortable. Free child place was excellent value for money. The free breakfast was great too. Good variety for both kids and adults and vegan well looked after also. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Welcome staff - Jennie (I believe) was incredibly welcoming. Answered all our questions. Smiley and friendly and a perfect person to welcome us. In the morning we were greeted for breakfast and a very friendly member of staff took our order and he checked that we were happy. Food was great.

We stayed in the stable block, we have stayed here before. All perfectly fine and outer decoration is spot on. The room is starting to look a little tired - perhaps personal preference. But very clean and very happy with it all.

The staff were very friendly and helpful especially when a problem occurred. My room was noisy as there was a wedding open day - when I complained I was moved and upgraded without argument. Staff 10 out of 10 and very impressive.

The walls between rooms had virtually no soundproofing at all and on two occasions the noises coming from the next door room kept me awake. Also the noise from the passageways could be heard really quite loudly.

The pub seems to have lost the country pub feel during the refurb, too stark and bright for us. Truly awful / non existent wifi....lucky I brought a backup card to pay.....modern world guys...needs sorting!
