Positive section of review
The only positive aspect of this hotel was that the staff were friendly. I requested a hairdryer and an ironing board, which should have been standard for the price, but I had to ask for them. The staff were willing to help and even stored my luggage for a few hours after I checked out, as my train was leaving later. The location was also good, being next to the train station. However, these few positives do not make up for the overall poor experience and high cost.

I recently stayed at this hotel and while the staff was very helpful and kind, the overall experience was awful and the cost unjustifiably high. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable; I could feel the springs poking through. One side of the bed was pushed right up against the wall, making it impossible to pass through. We chose this hotel because, as a Genius member, I received free breakfast, but I regretted it. I would have much preferred to pay for another hotel without breakfast and eat elsewhere. The breakfast was very basic—I'm surprised some people rated it highly. They asked if you wanted an English breakfast or sandwiches from the menu, and you were only allowed one choice. As a Greek, the English breakfast was not filling at all—it only had one egg! I'll upload a photo for reference. I paid nearly €200 for two nights. Definitely not worth it.

Rooms were absolutely fine. Bed nice and comfortable. Staff were lovely. Brekkie very good. But, instant coffee? Really in this day and age. Just get a decent filter coffee on.

We liked the fully equipped kitchen, the very large living area and the bedroom with ensuite. We liked the location it was a very quiet area and being woken by birdsong.

You can hear people upstairs walking around whilst you’re trying to sleep. The house is abit of a catfish , it doesn’t look the way it does on the pictures the photographer is very good. The space looks big but it’s actually very small. The shower and the bathroom didn’t end up being as nice as it looked and neither did the kitchen. It says it’s refurbished but it looked really old. But the bedroom was really nice and modern that’s probably the only good thing about that place

Dripping mold on shower head, had to ask 3 times before anyone came to clean it and even then it got only slightly cleaner. Nowhere to hang outdoor clothes, had two exceptionally tiny drawers to put our clothes into. One of them was occupied by the hair dryer. The only 2 hangers in the closet were already occupied by the bath robes. The bed was so soft that you could get lost in there and never be found again, and not in a good way. Instead of getting a good night’s sleep we might as well have been at the party in the upstairs restaurant as the music coming through the ceiling into the room was so loud.
