Best thing about Tune Hotel is the Reception staff. Rooms are worn, tv doesn't work, light above bed didnt work, main light had no cover so wires exposed. Bathroom door heavy and stuck. Cracks in walls and chips in paintwork. Overall worn room, expected a litte better having a room with a window however the basement room with no window we booked a few years back I felt was in much better condition. More than likely would not return

Staff found and delivered non-feather duvet and pillows at 9pm (allergies). • We had a great night's sleep before a long drive across the continent. • We chose to dine at a nearby pub, the Greene King which was very good for those with allergies.

After a long day of driving, and with another 12 hours ahead, we booked this place especially (solely?) to have access to the pool to relax. We were delayed on-route and called ahead to find out what time the pool closed and were told 8pm. We arrived and tried to access the pool at 7:25pm but the door was locked and staff refused us access telling us that last entrance is 1 hour before closing time. This would have been useful to mention on the phone, or mention in the Booking.com listing. Their stance was essentially "computer says no" and we were not allowed in even for 15-20 minutes. Staff told us that they start tidying and cleaning up the pool 15 minutes before closing so bear that in mind. I understand that the pool normally closes at 6pm which is far too early in my opinion. Many of our hotel neighbors were loud and several doors had "happy birthday" banners across them which concerned us as we needed a good night of sleep. Fortunately we fell asleep early and were not woken up.

The house is in a very safe and quiet location next to similar buildings. And the two floors inside were perfect for a family outing. We were two girls has our our own room.parking just next to the door .we required check out one hour later is fine.

House clean still needs to be improved, there were white hairs on the sheets , bed linen was not very clean. The shower head sticks out and only half of it sprinkles. Got a bit too many requests after payment, double IDs check ,deposits and even small rubbish to clear up yourself when you leave. We threw out all the rubbish bags ourselves.
