The views were amazing! The breakfast.. A good choice of fruits. The porridge was nice and the different toppings available . I never would have thought to top the porridge with the many choices they had on offer!! The room was spacious, a separate room for the toilet and shower.

The porridge needed to be stired more as there was a skin on top. The bed could been bigger. I felt there wasn't enough room to move around. The mattress was comfy, though..There were two hairs on the wall of the shower. The one thing I am very picky about!!!

Location location location.. what an absolute gem.. the view is amazing and tbh you would be hard to find anything close to it.. The lodge/cabin has everything you need for everything and more.. The horses roaming right outside was an extra special touch..

It’s in a good area near the centre. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The only really good thing about the whole place was the bed. One of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in. It is good to have a dog friendly hotel .

Hotel is about to be refurbished so was really beyond shabby. The carpets are all worn and tired, as is the bedroom furniture. The spa was awful and the pool was like a school swimming pool. The spa area smelt of damp/ sweaty feet. The hot tub was out of order. The loungers were shocking and only 5 in a huge hotel. The lockers were all broken and my clothes got stuck in one and took ages for the girl to prize it open . The breakfast was awful. The cheapest bacon and sausages, no croissants, dry large hotel and breakfast is from 7-11 but at 9.30 almost everything had run out . The coffee machine was broken and they ran out of bread and eggs . So many tables were full of plates and cups not cleared away. The coffee machine in the main bar was also broken. Worst of all it’s advertised as disabled friendly but there are stairs everywhere and the lift was broken. We booked accessible rooms and were not given them and we had to stay in a really grotty annexe that is too far to walk and had to drive there from reception. It felt like 80s student accommodation . The bedroom was boiling and you can only open the window a tiny bit as health and safety strap stopping it opening properly and the electric wall fan was so loud you could not sleep and have it on. It’s nice that it is dog friendly but we were not told we could not take her into the restaurant so we had to have breakfast on the landing outside the restaurant on two old tables pushed together!

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. 24 hour access with key codes etc. No food is provided but we knew that on booking. It was not a problem and enabled the price to be kept down.

Great location and close to the clubhouse. Lay out for 6 beds wasn’t ideal.

Beds were dirty, duvet and pillows dirty. Luckily we took our own bedding otherwise we would not have stayed. Had to remove mattress protector on double bed as it was dirty, stained and had hairs all over. Even tried flipping the mattress to see whether the other side was cleaner, unfortunately it wasn’t. Shower was poor, as the water didn’t come out of the shower head properly it came from the pipe.
