Great location. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We had to leave early one morning- well before breakfast, and they prepared light breakfasts for 3 of us to have on the train. It was totally unexpected and greatly appreciated. Absolutely top notch service 👌 Thank you so much

We were a group of 4 girls staying for the weekend and the actual flat was gorgeous! Very cosy but still enough space to be comfortable. It was very clean and had all the facilities we needed. Plenty of cooking equipment and a couple little shops near by if you need anything.

tastefully decorated semi-detached house with a decent garden. (The ground floor is split level) No mobile signal in the area but had BT wifi. There is enough parking for 2 small cars. Close to hiking around Grizedale.

Owners have complete remote access to the heating of the house (electric heating with wifi/app controlled) and you are locked out and have no control. They decide when the heating comes up and when it goes down. After 3 days of e-mailing back and forth, I gave up. They were even bold enough to state that in a notice by the wifi router. It's a countryside house, so expect spiders in ceilings, etc. Post stay I contacted again the management company to give some feedback with photographic evidence, and the owners commented back stating I had more than 6 people in the house according to the neighbors (which I didn't, and yes, there are neighbors, and seems they are rather nosy) Also shows the caliber of the owners, all I wanted was a simple apology and that was the response I got. Also note 5p.m check-in time and 9.30a.m check-out time in the small print.

Very helpful & friendly staff. Lovely decor with high quality linen & furnishings. Comfortable bedding, excellent level of cleanliness and nice little extras such as chocolates on the bed.

The breakfast itself was good, however, there was limited dining space which meant I had to sit on a sofa at a low table. I'd much rather have sat at a proper dining table to eat my breakfast.
