The parking arrangements are excellent. The place is clean and tidy. The Wifi was good and very usable. I found an excellent Asian restaurant just seven minutes walk away. This provided me with an excellent meal (including an ice cream desert) for under £12.

No breakfast was provided. The nearby Pizza Hut has nothing whatsoever that is suitable for a single person either for Breakfast or Evening meal. It is also relatively expensive. The three nearby pubs were closed by COVID, making this part of town seem deserted on on the decline. There is noisy traffic passing the front door. The TV handset was not working correctly, probably due to having low batteries.

We were in Torquay for a family funeral and stayed here all can say is it was amazing clean and bright with modern decor with parking a bar and great food and great service nothing was to much trouble I would highly recommend a stay hear x

The building is very old which is interesting to us as we like that type of thing however inside was so modern and we really enjoyed that. Food was good too and the view from the restaurant was lovely.

Very helpful and friendly. Great room. Very clean. I turned up as a last minute booking soaking wet and cold whilst walking the pennine way and it was the perfect sanctuary.

Car park was a struggle to park at times no priority for guests pot luck needs some money spent plug in sink too big didn’t fit wardrobe missing a door emergency green light was too bright it lit up the room at night making it too light to sleep.
