Loved everything about this property. Very well equipped, extremely clean, the lakes were clean and well kept it’s a credit to the owners. Friendly helpful staff and a nicely stocked tackle shop with extra bits like delicious pasties!

If I had to be honest my only minor annoyances were the traffic on the road was frequent and quite noisy which spoilt the peace for me, and the mattress was in need of maybe flipping as it was very lumpy like I was rolling off it. This did spoil my sleep.

The check in experience was not great. We didn't appreciate the fact we paid for a Delete Double but were given a compact room. It was only after we walked into the room that I had to go back to reception and request the change but they admitted to knowing about this allocation. We were downgraded and the staff member just thought we wouldn't notice. After enquiring however we were given an upgrade for the 2nd night as there was nothing they could do for the first night.

The receptionist, the one with red hair, I think her name is Sienna? I’ve always paid for the room on my check out with my expenses from the bar and restaurant on top of the room rates! I said to this woman that I would have my dinner and after shower I would sort out all of the payments! We went upstairs after dinner, I had a shower and past out because I work night shifts sometimes as I’m a doctor! That woman started to call the room after 10pm insistently and waking us up saying that I HAD to sort out the payment asap. I’ve asked to do it in the morning on my check out but she wasn’t satisfied and kept calling and calling the room! So I gave her my card details over the phone and guess what?! She was thick enough to not read the numbers properly from my room and she was calling the room AGAIN and AGAIN and asked me to my daughter to go downstairs and make the payment so my daughter did! She’s went downstairs and? VOILA!! Payment done ☑️ I had the worst experience ever this time!!! 72 hours non sleeping and when I finally fall asleep I was disturbed/ harassed by that receptionist! I will never stay at the Hilton at the Birmingham Airport again!!!!
