We had a wonderful stay at Number Four at Stow! As international visitors coming to the Cotswolds for the first time, we truly felt at home thanks to the incredible staff. Everyone was so warm, kind, and genuinely caring—it felt like the old good days when people were simply nice and sincere. The service was exceptional, and the team went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The location is perfect, and the overall experience was unforgettable. Thank you for making our trip so special—we’ll definitely return!

Our stay in Stow-on-the-Wold was charming and peaceful – cobbled streets, cosy tea rooms, and friendly locals at every turn. We wandered through antique shops, enjoyed hearty pub meals, and soaked in the Cotswolds’ timeless beauty. The perfect blend of relaxation and little adventures. Beautiful, characterful village. If you’re looking for somewhere picturesque to relax with lots of quality food and drink I couldn’t recommend Stow on the Wold any stronger. Visit Folletto while you’re there. A newly opened, family run bar with amazing quality pastries and drinks and the best hosts!

You get a vibrant Cotswold town - what more do you want? Traffic in summer can be painfully slow. Do not rely on taxis as they are non-existent and so hard to get. For a night out I recommend a nominated driver in your party if you wish to go out of town.

    The accommodation was excellent.

The accommodation was excellent. The apartment was very well located right near the main square & in the main shopping area. The apartment was furnished superbly and included seperate kitchen/dining area and well appointed small lounge sitting area in addition to the main bedroom and bathroom. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone I knew who was visiting the Cotswolds in England.

Stow on the Wold has interesting history at every turn (don’t miss Nth door at St Edward’s Church for example or the plaque beneath the cross on market square). Cost cafes with good coffee & great bakery treats. Stow is an easy drive to most villages and towns in the Cotswolds
