There are many other location in the Rocky Mountains nicer than Banff. The three days we stayed there it was crowded of people, very far what we expected in the mountains. All the attractions were crowded, in special the hot tubs. After seen the small pools crowded we refused to go into. Besides, the restaurants have crazy prices. Banff was the worst experience in our 3 weeks in Canada. Of course, we loved the environment, the glaziers, the trip from Jasper to Banff, but we recommend to sleep in Jasper or other locations instead of Banff.Guest review byMarioSpain - 10.0

Banff was so beautiful! We stayed at Juniper Bistro. Once we arrived, we checked in and headed up Mt Norquay, took the open chairlift up to Cliffhouse Bistro for dinner in the drizzle. There had been thunder and lightning and then hail, but I'm so glad we stook it out as we were awarded a rainbow in the view. The bistro was amazing! I'm the morning we got coffee at the Fairmont hotel, Canada's Castle, and then walked around the Cascades garden, and hit some shops. I spent 20 days at the Hostel.
I spent 20 days at the Hostel. A little too long for Banff, but the facility and staff were great. It made me a little sad when I left. Many of the staff members referred to me as a friend. Banff is a must visit destination for all nature lovers, and all the more so for those who like hiking. Just plan sufficiently far ahead in advance, especially if you want to visit Moraine Lake. What took me the most by surprise is how easy it is to access the park by Roam Transit buses from downtown Banff. The complimentary breakfast was great value, we always had a variety of foods to keep us full while skiing (rotating oatmeal, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal). The location is excellent - easy walking distance to all the restaurants in downtown. April is definitely the time to visit in terms of value for money - there was ample free parking available at the hotel. We loved having a proper barista made coffee at White Bark every day. The room is spacious, with lots of floor space for our snowboarding gear. The hotel lobby has a great vibe, with s’mores daily, cosy fireplace, bar and board games.
