    I love the Gold Coast.

I love the Gold Coast. Great beaches, bars, restaurant and shopping. Suggest staying on the waterfront close to Cavil Ave, so you're handy to everything. Buy a Go Card and use the light rail to go up and fish the coast. Great value at the moment 50c a trip.

We travel there a couple times a year to stay for a few days and so numerous day trips as well. It’s a lovely place, very busy and touristy and can be difficult to find parking but don’t let that stop you! There is a great vibe and mix of people from all ages… We spend heaps of time at the main beach, sone at the multiple takeaway or sit down eateries. There is something for everyone! You can go by foot, local bike rentals when in the esplanade… there are Wednesday and Saturday markets weekly… I enjoy the atmosphere at Wahlburgers right on Cavill Street opposite the Maccas… but won’t decline a good takeaway coffee from Starbucks just down from it! Heaps of activities for a cost to do but worth doing if you are there for a Bucky list ‘tick’😊

I do love the Gold coast, everything is there that I need,...

I do love the Gold coast, everything is there that I need, but especially the many choices of Accommodation (my fav to stay is Chateau on beachside SP), the GC white sandy beach, Lifesavers are all along the beach, there's Surfers Paradise market (we were there during August/ so 3 days @4pm-9pm in winter months), walking paths, shops, cafe's and restaurants are all great. One thing my brother and I did notice is the Tram/ bus services were terrific, Get a 'GoCard' and hop on a tram to get around.. tap it on/ tap it off. do not get on a tram without one of those, you will be fined. I've been going to the Gold Coast twice a year for past several years, on my breaks in between work and contracts.

    A wonderful place to be.

A wonderful place to be. So many attractions and things to do and see either in Surfers Paradice or nearby. Sea World was fantastic. The Cat Cafe was fun. There were many quality places to eat. Supermarkets in walking distance and even found a local community art gallery that was worth a look and bought a couple of paintings. Also highly recommend the Quack a Duck land boat tour. Love its signature horn. And make sure you walk every day on the beach.

After having to postpone our wedding at the Gold Coast Botanical Gardens and post wedding dinner at the Mermaid Waters Hotel due to Cyclone Alfred, we could not have been more pleased when Brodi (Functions Manager) was able to help us with a wedding venue and the dinner, the following week. Brodi and her staff went above and beyond to give us both the most amazing day we never thought would happen. All our family and friends also commented on the amazing job that all the hotel staff did. Thank you all once again. Yvette & Corlia

Comfortable modern accommodation. Pleasant looking block of apartments. Not large, more like a hotel room, but adequate for my needs. Spacious cupboard with shelving. Two burner stove in additional to microwave was useful. It has wifi and Foxtel. Receptionist Benny very helpful. Great location, an easy walk to Broadbeach South tram and bus station, and not much further to Paradise Fair, a major shopping centre. An easy walk in other directions to Oasis shopping centre, and foreshore and beach.

Sunday check-in using a lock box. No problem. Room was on floor 3. No real view but it sufficed for our stay. Bed was really low which was a surprise, however, it was comfortable. Having the tram stop outside the Hotel was great. A very cheap and efficient way to move around. We loved the tram and train. 50c fares are a bargain.

Really close to Gold Coast airport if you’re needing a cheap stay over! Big kitchen and all utensils you’d need, huge walk in fridge too. Very comfy lounge with Netflix on tv for chilling, nice pool (didn’t swim but looked nice) and comfy beds.
