The location is perfect—close to the park, excellent specialty coffee spots, and downtown. The hotel ambiance is beautiful, reminiscent of a small luxury villa, making the stay feel cozy and elegant. The room was clean, but smaller than expected for the price paid. We were asked to pay for an additional room because the one we booked couldn’t accommodate our family. Overall, it was a good experience thanks to the lovely setting and location, but the small room sizes are something to keep in mind.

Very clean and up-to-date flat in a great location. Wonderful rain head shower, comfortable bed, and all the cooking equipment one could need. Highly recommend early morning walks along the Thames Path (take the back route across Richmond Green and down Friars Lane or Old Palace Lane for more interesting sites). Easy location for access to Richmond Station as well as walking to Kew Gardens, Ham House, Strawberry Hill, and Richmond Park, among others.

Lovely village feel with a great variety of upmarket shops although mostly chain, there are some independents. Great restaurants along the river and a nice walk. The Green is also pleasant - spoilt for choice on pubs and restaurants in the area to choose from. Easy to get to via tube or train. Feels relatively safe after hours.

Very friendly staff. Rooms were clean. Food was good and reasonably priced, as were the drinks, given the hotel is so close to London. Excellent sports facilities, but unfortunately we didn't have time to make use of them as we were visiting the tennis championships at Wimbledon.

The town and surrounding areas were very nice.

The town and surrounding areas were very nice. Richmond Park is great to walk around. However, simply walking around the roads, taking in the beautiful houses with their diverse styles and architecture, is truly fascinating. (And there are no giant gates.) Came across a lovely pub (The Plough, think it was in Sheen?) The town center boasts numerous charming independent shops and a variety of excellent dining options. The choice is endless. I would go back for 3 days with my wife (went with my son to watch rugby this time)

This is a gem of a hotel. Not too big, not too small; fabulous staff who can’t do enough for you (unobtrusively). The only drawback is I slept so utterly beautifully I missed breakfast! Despite being on a busy road it’s super-quiet, the room was perfectly appointed, the air-con efficient, I just wish I had more reasons to visit Richmond so it could become my London home-from-home. It’s wonderful.

Absolutely can't fault it! The gym is well equipped, not just a few cardio machines! Pool and thermal suite were great, we used them every day. The room we had was plenty big enough with coffee, tea and a fridge with water. Comfy beds and a decent shower in the ensuite. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Easy trek into central London. Couldn't ask for a better few days

It feels like a country house hotel but it's only 15 minutes walk from the centre of Richmond, a vibrant town with lots of shopping, dining and scenic attractions, such as the River Thames, or Richmond Park. Also you can get to central London in only 30 minutes by train. The dining room has a wonderful view over the river and countryside around.
