Breakfast was amazing, great selection of everything one would want. Your coffee was incredible.
The hotel location was perfect. My fiancé and I were a little nervous about the strange people hanging out in the square across from the hotel..apparently migrants, they didn’t bother us.
Our room was a good size, great big bathroom. Wish you had hair conditioner and body lotion. The kettle was good. We brought Floger’s coffee bags. It was good. even though we had breakfast included in our 5 night stay it’s nice to have coffee in the room.
We ate one night at the Veranda Restaurant with spectacular views. Food and service were excellent.
People at the hotel bar off the Lobby were so nice and accommodating.

Built on seven hills facing the Tagus River, charming Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world. It showcases unique tram rides, intimate Fado performances, great dining venues and much more.
The city is famous for its districts: Belem's famous monuments; Alfama's labyrinth of streets, bars and small shops; and trendy Alcantara's docks. Lisbon’s most popular nightlife and shopping venues are in Bairro Alto, while the traditional heart of the city beats rhythmically in Baixa.
Enjoy a walk through Jardim Botanico, admire the architecture of the Jeronimos Monastery or explore the Feira da Ladra flea market. The Chiado area serves the city's best traditional Portuguese cuisine. No meal is complete without the famous pasteis de nata!
Getting to the city center is only a metro or bus ride from Lisbon Portela Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel, a friendly guesthouse or a cozy apartment, Booking.com has plenty of accommodations for your vacation in Lisbon.

You cannot spend just 5 days and see the highlights and wonderful architecture in Lisbon and hope to have enough time to try the local cuisine and shop. We did three different Hop-on Hop-off tours and one full day tour of the city and had so much more we wanted to see and experience. Lisbon is quite hilly, some strolls are tiring and take a bit longer ... there is always something amazing to see around the next corner, be it, a church built in the 1100s or a tiled building from the time of the Moors or little restaurant with amazing food tucked in between shops or a bakery with scrumptious pastries (sweet and savory).
We found the Portuguese people very friendly and helpful. Try using Portuguese language skills no matter how poor - the locals love to hear you try and will help you get what you need or want.
We concentrated in the area of Braixa but visited several other areas of the city .... next time we want to explore southern Portugal and eastern Portugal to gain an even better understanding of this lovely country.

Weekend break - We spent a day exploring the city and the rest of the time sampling port, wine and the local beers. Food and drink was super cheap (and good quality) compared to London, but the typical tourist traps should be avoided for best prices.

The location to the airport was perfect. My wife walked back from the airport car rental center to the hotel in 5 min.
The car rental center is connected to terminal one.
The subway is just outside the terminal exit and one can pay with a credit card at the subway line entrance terminal. No need to buy a seperate ticket.

Lisbon is a beautiful city.
Lisbon is a beautiful city. There is an abundance of old and new to see and visit. It is busy - but have a plan and stick to it. It is steeped in history, and the architecture is lovely. There are many choices of restaurants, but do try the local fish cuisines - as everything is fresh. There are many ways to travel across all budgets. Avoid the sightseeing buses if you can - they are not as frequent as the say. We had to wait over an hour for our tour bus - and went back to get a refund - which they did. The Oceanaria (Aquarium) is fabulous - very visual and very well done indeed. It was a 15-20 min taxi ride which cost EUR 10- from the centre. There is a good selection of eateries there as well as a shopping mall. We took a Tuk-tuk (they are all electric!) on a 1 hour tour into the old town. (Our hotel arranged this - rather than haggle on the street!). A perfect way to get around and see everything close up. Our driver Nuno was so knowledgeable about the history. We were advised to avoid the castle as it was just stones and a view.

We enjoyed the history and the cultural information available. The access to Sintra (Pena Palace), Jeronomos Monestary, and Jorge castle was very poor - if you want to visit it, buy your tickets on line several days in advance! Have very sturdy walking shoes. Park you car, use public transportation, taxis, or Uber. Finding parking is very difficult.

Lisbon is a huge, manically busy destination city.
Lisbon is a huge, manically busy destination city. The riverside area is a lovely place to stroll and enjoy the views, people watch and eat! The older area of the city is charming but so chaotic with the trams, hop-on/off buses, tuktuks, vintage-style taxis plus ordinary taxis, cars and delivery vans. I'm not sure I've ever been anywhere with so many tourists. We walked and climbed as much as we could (in our 60s) and were thankful to call an uber and return to our hotel at the end of the day. Thankfully ubers are cheap and easily available. Much cheaper than any other transport option!!
The hotel is in a lovely and easily accessible location.
I absolutely loved my stay there; the breakfast was lovely and the room was so comfortable and clean at all times,.
I went to Lisbon with no concrete itinerary but the staff helped with recommendations, they have a special desk to help clients with suggestions and bookings so that made my stay very worthwhile.
All facilities are as stated online. Definitely worth the price for a 5 star hotel.
Great staff, I highly recommend.
This was an excellent experience. Within a 5 min walk of the airport. Hotel bus leaves every 15 min. Super helpful, friendly staff at check in. Very nice room. Did not hear ANY noise, incl. not a single plane. Very comfortable bed. Good lighting and storage. The breakfast with several serving stations was outstanding too. It opens at 5.30 am. We were in Portugal and
Southern Spain for 4 weeks. This was definitely one of the best stays.
The hotel is also very reasonable priced.
This hotel is perfectly located right at the heart of beautiful Lisbon. It felt like a luxury hotel (closer to 5 stars).
The staff was very warm and friendly. They have upgraded us on check in, which was very nice.
The room was very spacious and spotless clean with all necessary amenities.
The people at reception were extremely helpful - they have stored our luggage after check out and helped us navigate our way to the next destination.
We would come back!
Hotel is nice and clean. It's modern..the indoor pool was very expensive to use it was €37 for two people and two swimming hats and it was freezing cold. Location is a bit outside of the main center but its very cheap to get a taxi. Good food is very hard to find in Lisbon. Unless you like seafood you are going to be hungry. Hard rock cafe was probably the best food we found. Lisbon is a nice place very clean and alot of nice buildings and monuments.
My stay at Jardim da Lapa was one of the best hotel experience i’ve had, the boutique hotel has a unique character in one of the most beautiful and quiet neighborhoods in Lisbon.
What i loved the most about the place: the attention to detail, the most friendly staff, the atmosphere, the pool, the breakfast.
It is a perfect place for a solo traveller, a couple and also a family!
I will be back for sure :)
Fantastic hotel. The staff is 5 stars, from the reception to the staff of the restaurant and bar. Breakfast is varied and has an egg menu, such as omelet and benedict. The room was comfortable and the bed fantastic. It has an indoor pool and spa. But the best part is the outdoor pool terrace with bar and a fantastic vertical garden. I recommend it and will come back.
Definitely can be called "room with a view." It sits on the highest hill in Lisbon and probably has the best hotel view in the city. Book one of the rooms with the mini balconies, #15,25 or 35 if you can. Best value for the money. Bathrooms are old school marble, quite decent. Sitting outside watching the sunset with music and a bottle of wine, what's not to love.
Stunning hotel, set in a super central location in Lisbon. Pure luxury. Stunning rooftop bar with sweeping views over the city. It was one if the best hotels we've stayed in across Europe. The staff were exceptional. From the amazing night staff, to Daniel and Maria - they accommodated our every request and went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable.
Super nice and helpful team. Changed my room as I asked and I was allowed to checkout later what was very convenient.
As I know, breakfast is not often option in Lisbon’s hotels. In Hotel Capital breakfast was rich enough 👍
And the best is location! 30 minutes away from the Airport (by bus or metro) and city center (by foot).
We only had one night in Lisbon for a stopover. I'm so glad I chose this hotel! It is in the best location right on the main pedestrian street with many beautiful sights nearby, the rooms are stylish, comfortable and quiet (despite the noisy area outside) and we ended with the beautiful rooftop terrace and breakfast!
I loved the location, which was really close to the historic center of Lisbon. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely complimentary breakfast. The best part of this hotel, however, is the staff, who were so kind and really took their time to provide us with recommendations for things to do in the city.
A wonderful, friendly, small hotel with easy access to the sights of Lisbon. The best part was the garden, an beautiful oasis to take your breakfast or for afternoon drinks at the honor bar. The staff and owners helpfully shared their recommendations on Lisbon and other places to visit in Portugal. A real find.
Near airport but really not very central to popular parts of Lisbon and not many restaurant options near by. Train station is less than 10 mins away. Pool is lovely and warm - but you have to wear swim hats (wish I had known this before) and therefore we had to purchase some from the hotel €10 per person.
Location is great. The hotel is in a quiet zone of Lisbon but 5/10 minutes on foot from the center.
You also have luxury shops all around you. If you do not want to do breakfast in the hotel, around the corner there is a cafe where I had the best croissant I have had in a very long time.
The man at reception was fantastic. He was incredibly helpful and professional. One step ahead of us, as guests. Fantastic gym. One of the best hotel gyms, especially for the small number of guests. The breakfast was also outstanding. Definitely a 5 star hotel.
excellent location(just 3mins to the metro), very very friendly staff, the room is nice with a good view. I love everything about this hotel. The breakfast is great, the coffee is the best there. I will definitely book again if I go to Lisbon again.
This is the best place to stay while we were in Lisbon..Bruno really give us a great room with a great view from our room..
Definitely..this hotel will be our place when we come back to Lisbon
Location 10/10

The Breakfast is the 5 star of this hotel. Its superb. The rooms are very nice and clean. no complains at all. This is a good hotel for stay one night or during transfer flights at Lisbon Airport.
Great location. Netflix available so I could unwind before bed. Linens were wonderful. I’m currently staying at a 5 star hotel here in Lisbon and the linens and mattress is nowhere near as good.
The staff are amazing the hotel it's self is exceptional.
Location was the best in lisbon. Rooms had all luxury ammenties from bathroom to coffee machine. Bed very comfortable
