This was our second stay at The Wallace and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else in NYC. Beautiful boutique hotel in the quiet Upper West Side, close to Central Park and easy subway access. The addition of the Wallace Lounge , an atmospheric bar and lounge with live jazz most nights and lovely bar food is great.

I think in general New York has a lot of positives but there are a few gripes that I have 1. Since the Legalization of cannabis it’s all you can smell everywhere. 2. The roads and sidewalks are shocking and as I’m disabled and use a walker it was very difficult a to negotiate. It’s every man/woman for themselves 3. It’s not car friendly at all and generally speaking the motorists are aggressive to say the least

Bagels, pizza, taco’s, coffee of all descriptions in cool coffee establishments of all descriptions- NYC has it all! It never disappointed. We had a great time exploring New York City. We especially enjoyed visiting Central Park, Brooklyn, and Coney Island. We also had some excellent food and experienced great customer service at several restaurants. Taking the subway was easy and felt safe throughout our trip. This was not our fist trip to NYC and we will come again!

So much to do and the food was great. Museum of Natural History, Highline Gardens, Central Park were my favorite places. Serafina (west 77th), Friend of a Farmers (west 71st), Budapest Cafe's cherry soup (2nd Ave near 85th) and Heidelberg Restaurant (2nd Ave near 86th) had great food. We stayed at Arthouse Hotel (77th and Broadway) which was wonderful and really convenient and got around via Mass Transit and lots of walking. Just perfect!

The staff members at this hotel are so lovely and accommodating. The location is so ideal because it’s mid manhattan, close to the subway and port authority bus station. There seems to be some negative reviews around the hotel being uncleanly but this was not the case for us, the room was clean and considering how close it is to times square, the noise was minimal. The AC worked great. The decor is definitely an acquired taste haha but it’s nothing different from the photos, 10/10 recommend these guys.

Location was fantastic right in the middle of Manhattan, walking distance to Empire State Building, Times square. We even walked to Central Park. We were offered a ride to the airport at fixed rate lower than Taxi & Uber. We would stay at this hotel again if we go back to New York. We would recommend it to anyone going to New York. The room was clean.
