Location is great! You’re a short walk to the Atocha train station El Prado Museum and other highlights. The bar staff is awesome! Phillip remembered what we drank and had it ready without asking. Cesar was super hospitable always. He remembered our names and room number and was very informative about where to go and what to see. Jazmine at the front desk helped us greatly with restaurant reservations and transportation always with a smile. Camilla in the restaurant was a joy. She knew every detail of every dish and wine list. Ordering food with her was a breeze, timely and provided great service. These 4 employees are keepers and made our stay enjoyable!

We went to go to the three major art galleries - found a couple of good eating places (one of them, for chocolate and churros, thanks to Michael Portillo) - the others Rosi La Luna & for breakfast the Brown Bear Bakery.
Never needed to use public transport or taxis to achieve what we needed - except a taxi to the station (only to discover no spaces on the trains to Toledo for 4-5 hours) so took a taxi to Toledo direct.

The hotel's central location is excellent, all tourist attractions can be seen on foot. I appreciate the cleanliness of the room and the kindness of the staff.
However, I cannot but mention the poverty of the monotonous breakfast, every day the same two slices of bread, a croissant, some transparent slices of cheese and a box of butter. I can say that I have never met such an anemic breakfast in any other hotel in Europe.
I also didn't like the fact that you had to sit at the table and wait to be served with the portion by a lady a bit overwhelmed by the situation.
Maybe it wouldn't hurt to have a kettle and some tea in the rooms for cool days like the ones we had.
Honestly, the high price I paid was more reflected in the location of the hotel than in its facilities.

Madrid is a great walking city full of art, parks, monuments, history with lots of fun bars and great restaurants. Everywhere we went we had great experiences. An easy to navigate metro system which also linked into inter city rail travel is a bonus. We felt safe at all times. Love the different places and the smaller calles that spread off them.

A fab place if you like art.
Madrid should be an example for all European cities: the Prado and Reina Sofia museums offer daily free visits in late afternoon. What a smart way to attract people who do not initially have art as their main focus.

Beautiful and monumental urban architecture (this applies to all buildings: 'ordinary' tenement houses, as well as state and historic buildings). The city is very well connected (many metro and bus lines). Lots of local bars, restaurants and cafes, but you must be aware that most are closed between 5pm and 8pm.
NOTE: when reaching the airport by metro, you must know that you will have to pay an additional 3 EUR/person to enter the airport (this information is hard to find anywhere and usually surprises everyone on the spot).

Madrid is a beautiful city to visit.
Madrid is a beautiful city to visit. We took the metro into the city from the airport which was easy to navigate, inexpensive and efficient. It is a lovely city to walk around and explore with a huge choice of lovely restaurants, bars, cafes and shops.
Loved my stay ! This is a great hotel - family owned and operated with impeccable value for money. Location is right next to the airport and the trade show area whilst being in a residential, everyday neighbourhood filled with affordable stores, supermarkets and other convenient services. Hotel is spotless and very comfortable. Great bed, great shower with good water pressure ( important !). Breakfast is fine with a very good coffee machine . Service is the best I've had in Spain to date : friendly at all times, fast and really helpful.
The property is in an older building across the park from the Royal Palace. We thought this was the best property we stayed in on our two weeks in Spain. Room was huge, as was the bathroom, sitting area and coffee/tea service was a nice touch. This is a "hostal" ( a small family owned hotel) and well worth staying at. Elevator to upper floors, front desk is up a floor from entrance. Several restaurants, tapas bars, pastry and ice cream shops within walking distance. Would stay here again the next time.
Without a doubt, one of the best places I have every stayed at. The location is AMAZING, the view from my room was unbelievable (Spain's National Library), the room had everything I needed (perfect wifi, air conditioner, good space, safety security box, kitchen, all amenities - they even gave me a coffee machine when I asked for one). the front desk/reception was available 24/7 and helped me with everything I needed. Truly, exceeded my expectations and will definitely stay again when I go back to Madrid!
The location is perfect as is 5 mins from terminal 1 and 10 mins from terminal 4 . They have free shuttle ! Which is very handy as you don’t have to worry to get a taxi or a local bus .
The staff was really friendly. I ask about how to get from hotel to city centre , and the woman was very friendly and explain to me in detail which lines of tube I needed to get and gave me a map.
The room was very clean , comfortable and big . Next time i will go to madrid will definitely stay in here again !!
The Hotel is in the city centre (Chueca) and turned out to be much better than my expectations! Extremely clean and welcoming. People working there reply at whatever time (I arrived after midnight) and are there to solve any problem (I had an issue with noisy neighbours at night and they immediately intervened). Moreover, they were willing to give me information on Madrid and to have a quick talk sometimes to feel more at home 😊
The apartment was clean and comfortable and had was well equipped with regards to the kitchen. the location was fairly good. In Madrid a lot of things are within walking distance so it’s about a 20 minute walk into the city centre. Uber’s are also relatively cheap so we either walked places or got an Uber.
We checked-in at 11:30pm roughly and the process was very simple with clear instructions provided by the hotel.
This is the best choice for a Barajas Layover hotel , as I've tried several. The metro station is a 4 minute walk and metro goes.direct tonthe airport ( 1 stop) or back into cemtral Madrid.
Tere is a plethora of excellent restaurants just outside the door, and the Barrajas Historico Centro isn5 mins. My room had a balcony with a view of the airport takeoffs & landings.🛩
Not to mention updated comfy room.
The hotel is located at the business district of Madrid, 5 minutes walking distance from Chamartin central train and subway station, very convenient not only to commute to the city centre but also to visit nearby cities. The room was spacious enough with nice furniture and quiet. The breakfast, althougt it costed 25€, was very satisfying offering a big variety. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Letoh Letoh Gran Vía hotel is comfortably nested in the Madrid city centre, just some 30 steps away from the metro station Plaza de Espana. Its location is of great value in order to enjoy Madrid and feel the beat of the city. The facilities are very nice, esthetic and tasteful. The room was neat and also nicely designed. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. WiFi worked great. Great value!
This hotel is outstanding. In terms of value for money it is incredible. its in the centre of the city, the staff are excellent. Its a beautiful hotel. The breakfast is amazing. The room has a big bed 9room 220) and is very comfortable. The price included parking and a breakfast. The dinner we had in Nomad, their restaurant, was the best meal we had in Spain and Portugal combined.
This was our last night in Spain so we splurged for the Presidential Suite! It was amazing! Thank you for all the "bells and whistles". Outdoor bathtub that we did use in the middle of January! And a beautiful second balcony with a great view of the Royal Palace and Parks. All I can say is WOW! Rooftop bar is the best in Madrid! Thank you for an incredible stay!
The hotel is modern and tastefully decorated. The bed is so comfortable, best bed we had in our 2 weeks stay in Spain. Great location, its in the centre of the city, 1 minute walk to the nearest subway and lots of restaurants nearby. Staff are all very warm and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Madrid.
Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. The staff and servers are joyful, respectful, and fluent in English.
The gym was a bonus, the previous years they did not have that amenity, so it was a wonderful surprise to know. Hotel Regina has been our home every time we visit Madrid, Spain!
The suite was very nice, bathroom spacious *bath and separate shower" bed was very good. Staff is efficient and professional as you would expect in a 4 star hotel. Bus to Madrid City Centre around the corner (200m) 30 minutes to city centre. 20 min by taxi to Madrid Airport.
Perfect location for what we wanted to do in Madrid. The hotel has a courtesy bus to the Metro station which is a direct line to the city centre but taxis aren't expensive to the nearest Metro. There is large shopping centre and some restaurants within walking distance.
very good breakfast, related to 4 other hotels I took in Spain, this hotel offered one of the best breakfasts,
location is excellent, very close to all Madrid monuments... 10-15 minutes walk.
also close to metro station, where u can take a metro to Santiago Bernabeu.
location is good. Barajas is a nice Suberb of madrid. quite quiet but there are bars and restaurants near. the metro station is a short walk for trains to madrid city centre. The airport is 1 mile from hotel.
