The staff had the right balance of providing supreme service, where nothing was too much trouble and were mostly preemptive, while still being personable and warm. You can find lovely hotel rooms anywhere, but finding the right staff is obviously the Savoy’s forte.

Best place to stay in London, as always. Perfect location, great staff, beautiful interior - if you’re looking for a traditional British hotel, you can’t get it better. That’s why I keep returning. That also means, of course, smaller rooms. So if you’re the Hyatt/Hilton type, you’ll be disappointed.
