It’s close to airport, and a shuttle takes you to the airport it costs £4 per person, you can pay on card or cash and it’s arrival is every hour an hour. Breakfast is included, you can relax in the lounge areas or play pool, they also have a bar there where you can buy snacks, non-alcoholic drinks or hot drinks and cold drinks. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a 24/hr drive and eat-in MacDonalds, garage access the road is your need to eat and you arrive late.

Beautiful view of river from hotel but a little bit of walk into centre. Being further away did mean it was quieter which is what we wanted. Still super easy to get anywhere you want just a bit of a walk as I have impaired mobility.

Did find a bottle cap and things in the room that had been missed by cleaner. No coffee other than decaf in the room. Nothing massive though and the bed was amazing

It’s near Saffron Walden where we go to concerts at the superb Saffron Hall. Property is a lovely apartment with all facilities.

There was a rentokil rodent trap in the corridor. The bathroom had black mould in the grouting. The bedsheets weren't clean, there were boarded up windows, spilt paint on carpets.

The location and staff were great.

The room was up 4 flights of stairs and to be honest was shabby. Torn curtains, plaster off the wall, mould around the windows and shower, grime around the taps to name but a few things. The view was appalling and the residents lounge consisted of a few tables and chairs. This was open to the bar playing live music, which wouldn't necessarily be to everyone's taste. The hot buffet breakfast, though lovely was tepid and the plates were cold
