The accomodations layout was well thought out, and had been finished to a high standard. It was cosy but never felt small. It had everything we needed for a weekend away. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely awful. room cleanliness was disgusting, mold all up the walls, dirt everywhere, beds had bed bugs and we all got bitten. overall the worst place I have ever stayed in.

It is on the 1st floor and the living room is upstairs. It’s clear that this is the case but was a bit much for my mum with poor mobility. This was not the properties problem but I should have thought about it more!

The staff at the reception were not exactly pleasant or welcoming. They did not give any information about the room facilities. At the time of check out, the reception staff's behavior was unreasonable. My wife had requested for half an hour grace ( 11.30 am instead of 11 am) for checking out, which was grudgingly accepted. She was at reception with the luggage at 11.30. However, the staff person was busy on the phone. At 11.35, she told us to pay 20 pounds as we were late by 5 min!. She then rudely told us that we have kept the cleaning staff waiting and wasted their time. We were shocked but did not say much and paid up. This episode is the only bad memory we are carrying back home in an otherwise wonderful trip. We have traveled across the world, including multiple trips to the UK, and stayed in the best of the hotels. It is not so much about 20 pounds as it is about the extremely rude behavior of the staff person at the reception.
