We were attending a wedding so flexible check in approach worked well for us to arrive late evening. The room was spacious and well stocked with teas, coffees etc Beds were comfortable and lovely shower room. All very clean Breakfast in the cafe was delicious and staff couldn't have been nicer

Decor was a wee bit worn in places and the bathroom door handle was a bit stiff and stuck. Some drinking water in the room would have been appreciated

The location is excellent. The staff seemed to need a bit of time to warm up to us but then they were quite friendly. Excellent cafe nearby (Roots) and the Indian takeaway (Original Taste) was also really good. The bus to Stansted is just across the street.

We’re not fussy at all, but honestly I’ve stayed in better rooms in Bangladesh and India. Unfortunately you simply can’t find anything affordable in London that’s also of semi good quality. The street and hallway were extremely loud, bed was quite uncomfortable (half of the springs were broken), and everything was a bit moldy and grubby (which we honestly don’t care much about but still, it’s a lot of money for a moldy room).

The breakfast was excellent plenty of choice , we were on the 3rd floor but the lift was only a few steps away , The only negative the shower pressure in the room wasn’t that Strong , but it wouldn’t put me off going back.

The receptionist was charming. A really lovely lady, very welcoming, professional, happy and helpful. The room was comfy and the breakfast was just what we needed to set us up for the day. Would most definitely stay again.

It could do with a smaller reading light, rather than big bed side lights, but that's the only tiny issue.

So every time me and my partner say in hotels we strip the bed before we go. Make life easier for housekeeping. However upon stripping it there was pubic hair and what looked like brown stains from behind. I also received food poisoning from the brekkie. I was feeling fine before going down spend £32 on brekkie for 2. Afterwards feeling very sick and when we got home at 230pm I had been sick in the car on tge way home and up untill 430 the next morning as I am writing this review
