Carlisle Station hotel is ideally located for anyone traveling by train, being right next door to the station. It was spotlessly clean. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed. A lovely bonus was the free drink offer, and very ecologically sound idea, for not having the room serviced every day. A really first class hotel.

Dinner was, as always, very good and a highlight of the stay. Good choice and the menu changed every night. Breakfast also good. The bar and lounge area were pleasant and relaxing.

The room was incredibly dark, even with all lights on. Walls are thin, I was woken up by dogs barking every few hours throughout the night. There was a lot of noise generally.

The warm welcome we received by staffs was amazing. Our room was made available before our check-in time. We were offered good continental breakfast throughout our stay . The domestic also did a good job in keeping our room cleaned and tidy. Will definitely visit again.
