It was five minutes away from everything we needed, but also nice and peaceful as the city can be very hectic. You wouldn't think you was a 5 minute walk away from from a very busy city.

The room was nicely appointed and very clean.
A cloudburst soaked us at the tail end of our walk from the Lime Street station. The manager waiting at the door handed us warm, clean towels to dry off. The timing was perfect.

We loved Liverpool. Our favourite place was the Cavern Club and Matthew Street was amazing with it's different bars and live music in all of them.
The British music museum was fantastic as was the magical mystery tour.
We ate in various Wetherspoons which are always good value for money.
I can't wait to go back to Liverpool

It was my second stay in Liverpool. I love the city's vibes.
It was my second stay in Liverpool. I love the city's vibes. They are all kind and down to earth. You can see it's poor as there are several homeless people around the city centre, but the majority doesn't even ask for a handout, and the ones who do are so polite and shy in doing so.
Every single person I asked for help, was extremely kind and stopped to give me directions or advice.
If the weather was a bit better, I bet Liverpool would be among the top in the most desirable locations to move into, due to the warm nature of the locals I have described so far.
I haven't felt in danger not even once, I also went to the outskirts to get the whole picture of the city.
If you can overlook the wind and the rain (quite doable putting a lot of layers on, wearing closed shoes and bringing a beanie hat to avoid looking like a witch lol) then you'll be more than fine. I know for once I'll be back again.

Liverpool is an extremely exciting city.
Liverpool is an extremely exciting city. It has a rich culture and social history which one can learn about in the fantastic museums near Albert Dock, and also via interesting walks throughout the whole city. There are numerous bars with live music, and it's also a shoppers' paradise. Naturally it's the best place for music and the Beatles, and also for quality football.

Brilliant city.
Brilliant city. As a Londoner, I view every other in comparison to that, but this is up there ! Loads of music and nautical history, and fantastic atmosphere, especially around Mathew St, which is where I was staying. I love that there are about 5 pubs within 50 yards, all having live music every night 👍🏼
This was my second visit, and I intend to make a third this year ! 🤣

Plenty to do both near and further afield if you want.
Plenty to do both near and further afield if you want. The usual crackheads around like in any town/city, but they weren't too in you face. There are plenty of good pubs/eating establishments that you should try or check out yourself, as only you know your preferences, but every taste is catered for.

Scousers are brilliant people very decent and friendly!
Scousers are brilliant people very decent and friendly! Lots of great places to go as in museums and heritage places also plenty of city tours ie the Beatles tours etc shops are great and plenty of places to eat that are both nice and reasonably priced! Buses are brilliant bring you where you want without waiting long and nightlife is brilliant!!
The location was the main reason I booked this hotel; it is ideally placed for sightseeing, being near Albert Docks, the Pier Head etc. Walking to both cathedrals, the Walker Gallery etc. was easy but for those who find walking difficult the Metro station is underneath the hotel with trains that go to Liverpool Lime Street and also underneath the Mersey to the Wirral and Chester! Liverpool One shopping centre and restaurants are also nearby.
Our room was large and there was an ironing board and iron (not that I needed them).
Having to travel all over the North of England for work, this is by far my favourite hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, professional and more than happy to assist with any queries. The hotel is presented beautifully in an industrial chic design to reflect its history, presumably as an old tobacco mill or similar. The rooms are absolutely enormous with ample facilities and a superb level of comfort & cleanliness. Will absolutely return as and when opportunity arises.
This property was in a great location. It was a 10 minute walk to the City Centre and the Docks. The hotel was beautiful, the entrance is gorgeous, there’s a bar which overlooks the docks - very scenic. The rooms were spacious and always very clean! Everything was restocked daily - water, towels, disposable bags. The staff at reception couldn’t have been more friendlier and helpful during my stay here. I would highly recommend!
The staff were really friendly during check-in and check out. The room was really lovely. Very clean and spacious with an amazing view of the docks. We didn't use the bar or restaurant facilities while staying here but the hotel was really close to the city centre, Albert Docks, the museums and a stone throw away from some local pubs and McDonald's. Really enjoyed my stay here would recommend for anyone exploring Liverpool.
Spotless hotel close to Albert docks and city centre. Everything you could want lovely bar area, breakfast was great. Great choice from cooked food to cereal and fruit and yoghurts. Staff friendly and helpful parking was great as well right under the hotel. We were booked in for 1 day but stayed an extra day that's how much we liked it.
The hotel is very quirky, very clean the staff are very friendly and nothing is a bother to them. The breakfast is wonderful and if your not into a full Irish there are plenty more choices. The bar is also very good. Will definitely return. Location close to the Docks, Liverpool one and Liverpool City centre all within walking distance.
Our room was very spacious clean and tidy as was the bathroom. The hotel was very well situated in the heart of the city centre. Very close to the Albert Docks and lots of entertainment. There was a large Wetherspoons pub just around the corner which i am all way's happy about.
The facilities and decoration are just top-notch. On top of that, the view is just the best you can have in Liverpool. The staffs are just absolutely lovely. The food might be a bit overpriced but very nice. All in all, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.
Probably one of the best Hotels for location. Easy walking distance to Docks, Liverpool 1 and Mathew Street. Very clean and quiet room with walk-in shower and clean towels each day. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Fairly close to the city centre,
Very simply and quick to walk.
Friendly staff.
Though it may not the greatest from outside the rooms are actually very nice for a 3 Star hotel, very clean and beds very comfortable
Breakfast was taken at the Toby just across the way. Nice and cheap! Hotels in the City Centre were booked up but this was conveniently positioned and in a fairly quiet location within easy reach of the city.
The best new 5* hotel in Liverpool. The bar area is crazily nice, as is the rest of the hotel. The room was furnished to a very high standard. Can't fault it.
