We loved getting out of Auckland City and spending our time in a beautiful Air bnb north of Auckland called Torbay. It was delight! Most of the hotels were either fully booked or changed their pricing to outrageously high. Luckily the front desk staff was super helpful and managed to extend our stay for one more night due to a last minute cancellation by other clients.
