Hard to beat the friendly welcome and service during the stay. Very comfortable, clean rooms and a hearty Scottish breakfast. Within a reasonable stroll of the subway and other public transport so easy to get into town.
Convenient parking. Amazing value for money. Great breakfast. Friendly welcome. In no way central, but easy public transport/taxi connections. Taxi cost about £7 off-peak/£10 peak (off-peak early evening; peak later on, i.e. from 10pm). The family room has 4 single beds - at £85/night it would be great for a small group of friends. 10 minute DRIVE to airport (not sure if well connected for public transport links). Short drive, and well connected by public transport, to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and park. Also close to SECC.
Free parking, free WiFi, comfortable bed, quiet, very clean.
Minor things really - no hook on back of shower-room door (and no bin), would've preferred fresh orange juice at breakfast rather than what tasted like powdered stuff made up with water. And croissants plus better selection of fresh fruit would've made breakfast really good!
The staff were lovely and the room was very comfortable. Good value for money.
Such friendly staff! Called in advance to enquire what I could eat as I'm wheat intolerant and made a special effort with breakfast. Made to feel at home.
The bed was a little rickety but comfortable.
How pleasent it was and the house wonderful
Excellent place to stay if visiting Glasgow. Breakfast was one of the best I've had when stopping at B&Bs. You can park right outside the door on quiet street. Bedrooms were lovely. Comfy bed and well stocked with tea and coffee. Free wifi available. All in all a pleasant experience and will stop there again.
Friendly Staff and Excellent Breakfast. Just 10 mins walk from Partick Subway or ScotRail Station.
Very comfortable and homely B&B The owners had obviously ut a lot of thought into the décor and comfort of their house. Water colours done by the owner were amazing!
Nice welcome, lovely old house. We had master bedroom which had four poster bed. Very tartan! Usual amenities, clean, tidy n warm. Surprisingly quiet considering next to main road. Tea tray n biscuits!
Tea tray not topped up n only one pack of biscuits between 2. Breakfast of average quality n arrived slightly cold. But did get hot toast n was offered cheese as am vegetarian, nice gesture. Bed too soft for me but that's me!!
Hotel was beautifully quiet despite being full. Room and en suite were comfortable and well appointed. Hosts friendly.
Would have preferred having bus route to hand. We could not have managed without satnav when driving around.Parking at hotel is on the street.
The old house is stunning! And we liked the fresh warm breakfast the hostess cooked for us.
The location, it´s in the middle of periphery near the motorways. Small inconveniences: you could not close the bathroom door, no warm water from the tap, no internet or really poor one, hard pillows. Something was wrong with the heating also, the little room was totally cold in the evening, but in the middle of night I had to wake up to turn off the radiator as there was too hot.
nice house in good area 10 mins to subway. Very friendly and helpful and terrific breakfast to start the day
Our host went out of her way to make us feel welcome and provide useful and practical information about Glasgow. Our room was exceptionally clean, breakfast was very good and the facility was well maintained. My wife and I would highly recommend Manor Park Guest House.
Friendly welcome; nice comfortable room; extremely clean. Breakfast was absolutely lovely with great coffee! Would certainly stay again.
There was nothing I found to dislike.
Ask for a room on a lower level. Four flights of steps with luggage for sixty plus year olds was too much! Lots of traffic noise. We used ear plugs.
The size of our room was great we even had a 4 poster bed which we didn't expect. The owner was full of useful local knowledge and gave us travel trips as we were touring scotland for 10 days. She even tried to book a table for us ,for dinner, in a local restaurant. The building was lovely .Overall visit was excellant and would certainly recommend to use this place
No issues !
Nice front garden, hallway and breakfast room.
Mean with the breakfast and does not cater for vegetarians. We were there for four days and no attempt was made to include any extra veg options, ie veg sausages or mushrooms. I asked for scrambled egg and tomatoes on toast one morning, and the plate consisted of a cherry tomato cut in half, a small portion of scrambled egg and one slice of toast -which seemed to be my quota of toast for that day, as the rack consisted of only one slice for my wife. We asked for more toast and the rack came back with one more slice. Other choices were also limted ie cereals, and the coffee pot was always empty. The double bed was very narrow. One bar of soap each with no other toiletries in the bathroom.
Helpful and attentive hosts
Lots of stairs and noise from traffic
Gracious host, clean and comfortable rooms. Close to museums and transit
This hotel is owned and run by a very friendly family. It is decorated with taste and the owner being a pastel artist, his beautiful pictures hang around the house. The room was very spacious and clean. The area is quiet and green. The breakfast is delicious and varied.
The prices were very high during the Commonwealth Games, three times the normal price, but everywhere in Glasgow was the same. There is no bus stop or subway station very nearby, but the town center can be reached in 20 minutes walking.
The staff were very friendly, and accommodating when we were late for breakfast and still gave us some toast and coffee
The usual price was inflated from £70 to £200 during the Commonwealth games, which isn't as bad as some places but still cheeky in my opinion
Made to feel welcome and staff helpful...
Friendly hostess,good breakfast
