The Saturnia is a lovely old Venetian palazzo renovated into a hotel in the beginning of the 20th century. We chose it because of a high customer satisfaction score and its elegant interior, replete with antique furniture, original architectural details and and the grande style of old Venice. The photos do it justice, but It was really the staff that accelerated our stay into 5+ stars - everyone at the front desk, the bar and at breakfast were so kind, and very helpful with suggestions for meals out. As someone who lives in hotels for work, I often ask employees how long they've been working there. At Saturnia, no one responded with less than 20 years. This immediately reveals to me that the hotel management takes good care of their staff, who in turn take good care of the guests, which was exactly our experience. Our room was lovely, with a fantastic balcony and city view, the bathroom had beautiful tiles, and the beds were comfortable. The quality and variety of the buffet breakfast was excellent. We took advantage of the spa facilities for a small additional charge and were very happy with our experience. I'd recommend Hotel Saturnia & International to anyone who wanted a bit of a splurge in Venice.

Katrina was wonderful (breakfast host). She even had some croissants made for us when they were all gone. The reception staff was also very friendly: upon feeling unwell they allowed a little extra time in the room before check out.

Our recent stay at this hotel was, in a word, perfect. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable – warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful, making us feel instantly welcome. This is lovely, large, two bed and two bath condo with a view of the canal from every room. The master bedroom has a small balcony with two metal chairs so you can sit and watch the gondolas go by. Watching them with a cup of coffee was my favorite morning activity. Intermittently waking up to the songs sung/music played by musicians on the gondolas was lovely. The appliances are in great condition and toiletries are provided. The apartments are hosted in conjunction with Hotel Bruno and their service is impeccable. We were taken care of two gentleman named Stefano most of the time but the team works together and are all wonder. They provided clear directions to Hotel Bruno from the rialto ferry point. We checked in with them over a welcome juice and they walked us to our apartment m, helping with our bags. They booked our gondola ride and walked us to the pick up point to catch it. They booked our private water taxi and helped take our bags to its arrival point on the day of departure.

From the moment we checked in at reception and was greeted by a very friendly member of staff called Amin we were made to feel extremely welcome, he made check in very easy . Amin always greeted us when we left and came back to the hotel, and took the time to ask us if everything was ok and was helpful if we wanted to know anything. The room we stayed in was spacious and had plenty of storage space , it had a very comfortable bed and plenty of pillows,the room was very clean there also was a tv in the room , that allowed us to change some channels audio to English . The breakfast had plenty of choice to suit all tastes and the staff at breakfast were very helpful and friendly.The hotel also has a restaurant inside and is just off St Marks Square. We will stay here again when we go back to Venice in August
