With the money we paid we got a two star hotel. Not even towel in the room. No bar fridge no extra blanket mattress were old and uncomfortable not a bottle of water not a chair to seat on. It was awful. I am very disappointed with book.com agency

If you're a big museum lover, NY has plenty to go, from huge ones like the met to more charming ones like the dog museum. Walking and discovering museums and parks was my favorite part. The prices were my least favorite. Get ready to shell out some $ especially for bigger attractions like the empire state building.

A cosmopolitan city that has decreased in quality over the years. It has plenty of activities to do for all types of travelers. The enviroment is not the best one and the service is not very good. Highly recommended for a first time visit, not that so for a second or third time.

Nice places and nice people.
Nice places and nice people. Been walking a lot since there is so much to do. Would have loved to stay a bit more but every good stuff has an end eventually.
Was the first time for us visiting the east coast os the US and first time in New York. Not disappointed at all !! plenty of stuffs to visit which I feel are mandatory (statue of liberty, empire State building) It is pretty expensive for the record (so think about the city pass before going there) and there are also plenty of things to visit which are free.

We stayed for a week and crammed in as much as we possibly could, yet still felt there was more we wanted to see and do. The city that sleeps is every bit as vibrant and iconic as it appears in films. Staying here first-hand confirms that all of the songs written about it are telling nothing but the truth.

NYC is a great place to visit- so much to see and do.
NYC is a great place to visit- so much to see and do. Would recommend a hop-on, hop-off service (use the nationally advertised ones for best bet) but even a walking/subway tour could keep you busy for days! Great museum, fantastic food, fun night life, lots of family activities and more! Our favorite place is always Times Square!

I loved the museums and the amount of things to do, but the smell of urine in the city was not nice. People take their dogs to pee on everything because green space is limited at best. I saw many homeless and that seemed to be the norm for a big town like this. I also have to note that marijuana is legal and people stand on the street and smoke it. Sometimes I felt overwhelmed with the smell everywhere of different things, but it is a big city. Transportation in the subway was great and easy to follow but you better be in shape because it is a ton of stairs and walking. I couldn't get to understand the bus situation but would have liked to. The city never sleeps and I found that hard to adjust to, they honk their horns every second and often. I am from a large city and the honking is really a New York thing. We ate at a place called Norma, it was Italian, and very good. If you cannot find food in New York then you are not looking. There is all different types of food on every block and its very convenient. I enjoyed how the places to eat mostly had outside seating and I enjoyed sitting and taking it all in. China Town had the best food in my opinion and it was inexpensive. I never got to Central Park so next time I would like to do that.
The hotel is in a great location, near Times Square, and has a subway stop right across the street. The staff was very accommodating when we arrived early in the day and let us into a room before check-in time which we had asked them about before we arrived. Although the room description mentioned fridge and microwave, the room had a kitchen area with everything but a stove which was so convenient in a city that is incredibly expensive.
You can’t deny the location is excellent if you want to be central and close to Times Square and all it’s activity. There are 100’s of restaurants within a few minutes of the hotel and the subway is just a short walk if you’re looking for adventure and being whisked around the city efficiently and cheaply.
Also within the hotel there are many original art deco features which is always nice to see if you like that kind of thing.
The location was not far from any attraction in New York City. The free breakfast in the morning was a hit you had to get there early to find a place to sit on weekdays. All the fast food places and restaurants are within three blocks. You have a Target and a Whole Foods a couple of blocks away. The staff at the hotel front desk we're excellent. They told us what the weather was like outside before we left the hotel.
We were pleasantly surprised by Radio City Apartments! We were a family of 5 and the 2 bedroom apartment was perfect with all we needed for a weeks stay. The apartment decor was a bit dated but very clean, well equipped and serviced daily! The staff were friendly. The location is right near Times Square and there is a metro on the corner. Great value for money in New York considering the room size.
The Warwick Hotel is in a fantastic location 5-10 mins walk from Times Square. Perfect base to get to all major attractions with subway stations close by but far enough away from the lights of Times Square so as not to disturb your sleep. Hotel has lots of character with excellent facilities and staff. Rooms are surprisingly big for Manhattan and were very well appointed with comfortable beds.
The Manhattan Club is a great place to stay in New York - at the north end of Times Square and just a couple blocks away from the noise and hubbub. Also, a short walk north to Central Park, so location is a favorite for me.
The room had a queen bed and a queen sofa bed, plus a kitchenette which makes making coffee and breakfast in the room very easy.
Location is excellent for Manhattan trip. In a minute you are in Times Square and you can reach everywhere by subway. There are too many good food facilities and restaurants around the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is clean. Woodbury outlet that you should go. Central station is in walking distance, 8-10 minutes.
The location was very central. It's few steps from Times Square wherein I went to, and around that area for 3 successive nights.
The hotel is also a few minutes walk from the St Patrick's Cathedral.
It's really in the middle of the most interesting places in Manhattan
The hotel is conveniently located in Manhattan, a few minutes from the grand central terminal metro station. It was easy to access major attractions in midtown by foot and other parts of the city by subway. The room was clean, and the restaurant was ok.
the location is perfect for exploring the southern part of Manhattan. I’m coming to New York for more then 20 years, but due to business I’ve always stayed in midtown. This area is much more fun.
the hotel is close to a subway station.
I liked the location, on the Upper East Side. Not in the heart of Manhattan, but well served by public transport and within an hour's walk (a very pleasant walk through Central Park or along New York's main avenues) of Times Square.
Location! in addition, the room was very clean and the bed super comfortable. for a New York City hotel, the sq footage was a little tinier than I used to. Make sure your limber enough to climb over your partner to get out of bed.
The rooms were not too small for New York City standards. The hotel is very close to several metro stations and also to Penn Station should you be taking a train somewhere outside of NYC and close to other attractions.
Great location walking distance to times square and outside Penn Station. Old style New York decor, beautiful reception area.
Great value for money when we went. Cheap for New York.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Everything about this place was wonderful. Beautiful hotel, good view, super close to the tram, at a good cost with friendly staff all around. I don't think I will ever stay anywhere else in New York City.
Room was good, but shower wasn’t good and a wash basin tap dripped all night (we wrapped it in a towel so we would not hear the dripping). For a relatively inexpensive New York City hotel, it wasn’t bad.
