Amazing location, fantastic views. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We had a lovely margarita at the bar one night after a day of sightseeing. My husband proposed at this hotel 7 years ago and it hasn’t lost its appeal. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I like the fact I could use the gym without any trouble at all, I felt quite safe and made my use of the gym more enjoyable.

What I didn't like was when I first checked in, the receptionist placed me in the wrong room, then when I informed her about it, she procceded to tell me that the room I had orignally booked for - A king Room (a month in advance) was not available. I had to put my foot down and say that I did not think it was right that when I had orignally booked for a king room a month in advance only to be told there was none available, she then had a look at the computer and I was managed to be moved into the King Room which I booked for. The second issue was the dinner. I had fish and chips, and dessert. I found bones in my fish, which I wasnt happy about and also had to spit out an uncooked part of fish and batter which was quite unpleasant. Now being the Hilton, the standard of food should be of a high standard but when I spoke to the waitress about the meal, she said that she spoke to the chefs and they (the chefs) said there was nothing they could about the bones, but as chefs working in the Hilton, that should not have been the response in fact its quite a disrespectful response to a customer- had the menu had said the the fish may have contained bones then I'd be a bit more understanding, but this was not specified on the menu, thus made my dinner more less enjoyable then I'd hoped.

It’s grim. Really run down, grubby. We ate in the hotel. The food was expensive and not particularly good. It was expensive for what it was. The staff were trying their best but hadn’t been properly trained. Came back 3 times to ask me what I’d ordered (fish and chips) and then brought me the wrong meal. No glasses in the rooms. Shower was mouldy. The room smelt of cigarettes and it was cold.
