The hotel is excellent and spotless as is to be expected. The staff are extremely helpful. We booked with breakfast included and I informed the hotel that my husband is celiac and dairy intolerant. As we walked into the breakfast room, the staff on hand explained everything to him. Everything was labelled, which is refreshing being able to choose with peace of mind. Plenty of options ranging from healthy to indulgent. The room was quite at night. The hotel is literally just round the corner from Lancaster Gate Tube Station. Very bright and airy room with a lovely view. Its a shame we only had one night here.

No mirror in the room, except in the bathroom - which is a bit awkward when you are getting ready to go out. We had been travelling for a week and we were exhausted so we came back in the afternoon for a nap and I found it a bit too noisy during the day, but I didn't have the same issue at night. The room was slightly small only because we had two large suitcases.

The cottage was great, and 1st impressions where good. The size is off the charts, and ideal for a large family group who could spend time together but also not be on top of each other. The hot tubs were amazing.once the big one had warmed up. The staff at check in were friendly enough and on hand to help with a few requests (extra towels and ice) without bother .

Although 1st impressions were good, it quickly became apparent that a lot of things were not working as they should and that basic improvements could be made to make the cottage substantially better. The hot water in the large ensuite room was not working properly and the handheld shower over the bath did notnwork, there is no towel hooks to hang wet towels on in any of the bathrooms or bedrooms, there is large windows in the mezzanine rooms without curtains (top arches and velux windows) which is not ideal for toddlers sleeping in them. It's so vast that cleaning is always going to be a challenge, but the huge amount of spider webs in the second ensuite and the dust on the skirting boards was not expected. It would have been nice to have basic cleaning equipment too, as there was no dish cloths, kitchen rolls or cleaning spray. Also the BBQ was filthy with cigarette butts in it so we had to pass on the BBQ and use the oven. All being said I would stay again as the price was excellent for the substantial space and hot tubs.

Room a bit pokey with horrible view of building next door. Really rough area of town. Was not clear parking had to be pre-booked so had to leave car in unguarded, unlit gravel car park.
