The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Excellent little find. The location is great just a few metres walk from the train station and five minutes walk to the city centre. The room was all we could have asked for for a one night stay. The staff were really, really friendly and we have already booked to stay there again in a year's time

Our room fronted onto a main road so was a tiny bit noisy.

Location was convenient; we walked to many of our destinations or used Bolt and taxis for more long distance. Unit was spacious, beds were comfortable, and the separate entrance was great. Staff was friendly. Daily housekeeping was a bonus.
Negative section of review
Unit was very worn and dated. Carpets needed replacement and walls were badly in need of painting or re-wallpapering. Furniture was worn. Photos misrepresented the quality/condition. I would not describe this unit as “luxury” and it was overpriced for what it was. Lobby area was also worn and dated. Aquarium is beautiful, but in obvious disrepair. This unit is not good for people with any mobility issues due to steps and shower/tub situations.

It was a friendly inn, the room was clean with plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits and the bed was very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that there was gluten free bread, cereal and coconut milk at breakfast.

I came to Norwich on the train to visit my daughter, cabs were all pre-booked, so I walked to the inn which is at the top of the steepest road in the city! I tried to book a cab going back into the city but was told it would be almost impossible to get one, so walked again to the station and did pick up a cab. On the morning of leaving, again was told I would wait forever for a cab, so walked in the pouring rain to the station. Unfortunately I won't be using this inn again for that reason. It's too far out from the city centre.

Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Curtains on the beds were a nice touch. Central location on a quiet street

Great location, staff and period features.

The rooms are tired and in need of updating. The fridge in the room didn’t work, but the reception stored our medication without question.

Location, view and room cleanliness

The junior suite had a strange layout, but still very functional and lots of space for a family of 3 with own crib. None of the rooms have fridges, although reception were happy to store medication up to a certain size due to limited fridge space.

Room was clean and comfy.
Negative section of review
Breakfast was very lackluster and the staff could have been more service oriented.
