"Love the place! Excellent food everywhere, highly recommend Asturias restaurant, three minutes from gare Zud. And the weekend market at the abbatoir is superb. Great value. Also zee fish restaurant. I don’t personally bother with the central square, happy just strolling around Anderlecht. I never felt unsafe at all"
"Antwerp is a very nice, lively and impressive city. A lot of impressive old buildings, a nice restaurant area in Het zuid, a lot of sightseeing possible in walking distance. I would recommend to visit the Chocolate Nation (close to the absolutely stunning train station), especially the shop where you will find the best belgian chocolate in nice versions. Great as a give away for friends back home."
"Lovely city with beautiful architecture. Compact and easy to get around on foot. Loved the Folk Art museum and the Lace museum.
Such a pleasure to sit at coffee shop in a pretty square having breakfast. We found restaurants expensive, especially good quality ones. Best meal was lunch at the weekend in Restaurant Diligence, which was excellent; it was a shame they weren't open for lunch during the week, otherwise we'd have eaten there more often. Booking is recommended.
Bruges has a relaxed atmosphere and people seem friendly and helpful. And then of course there's all the chocolate! We highly recommend Bruges."
"Absolutely beautiful - clean and felt safe. Many places to eat and drink and a lot with views over the river - loved sitting watching the boats. The buildings are also beautiful so lots to look at. Recommend a boat trip and the castle. The cathedral is stunning. Felt very at home there and sad to leave"
"Very good and clean apartment, very good location, everything is nearby: parking, shops. The apartment had everything necessary for a full-fledged rest. It was a 10-minute leisurely walk to the beach. The owners are very friendly, they immediately contacted, explained everything, immediately sent all the information and photos from the video.
They took great care during our arrival. They left a gift (very unexpected).
Highly recommend this place!"
"If you like keeping fit then a daily lung bursting ascent up the mont de Bueren is definitely recommended. The côtières de la cité take you into the countryside on the edge of a bustling city while the Outremeuse has some lovely green spaces and an excellent art gallery - all within walking distance. Many more interesting museums to explore too. The very modern and efficient tram system takes you to and from the main station at Guillemins"
"The beach and the beach boulevard, nice to take a walk, very many restaurants to choose from, also cafes and bars. Two good Indian restaurants, Colours and Flavours and Masala. Den Belg is a very good small cafe-restaurant, recommend. There is also a delicatess boutique Meuninck with lots of prepared meals, with reasonable prices - if one has access to microwave oven.
Blankenberge is not a very big city, very easy to go everywhere on foot. The railway station is centrally located, easy to jump on the coastal tram to get to other destinations on the coast as well."

"Our stay was disappointing due to poor cleanliness, inadequate amenities, and understaffing, with malfunctioning air conditioning and privacy breaches. Its inconvenient location led to frequent transportation issues, and unhelpful staff showed little concern despite complaints. Overall, the experience was far from comfortable or restful, and we do not recommend this hotel."
"University city - frozen in time - bikes bikes bikes - beer beer beer - party party party - PPT PPT PPT.
Lovely Begijnhof, Good restaurants, All attractions within a walking distance. Need a comfy - stone pavements resistant - pair of shoes."

"We stayed at Namur the previous year, but only for one night as en route to Luxemburg.
Decided to come back for a couple of nights. It is a beautiful city with lots of lovely shops and restaurants. Great views of the city from the Citadel which can be reached by cable car. We did that on our last trip. This time we took a tourist boat along the river and it was most enjoyable. However, commentary, was not in English, but we enjoyed the sights anyway. It is a very clean and pretty city."
Situated in the middle of Western Europe, Belgium combines magnificent countryside with a wealth of culture, comfort food and charming medieval towns.
At the heart of everything is Brussels. Despite being the headquarters of the European Union, the city has retained its own unique culture. Awe-inspiring architecture includes the Grand Palace, Gothic town hall and Laeken Castle – the official residence of the Belgian royals. Bruges is one of the most popular cities to visit outside the capital. Most of its 14th-century architecture is still intact, giving you the sense you’ve somehow travelled back in time. Ghent is also rich in medieval monuments and is less busier than Bruges in the peak seasons. Antwerp, the Diamond Capital of the World, is also renowned for nightlife, fashion and art scene. Brussels caters for many of the EU’s bureaucrats, so while there are a number of lavish hotels available, prices may spike if there’s a big event going on. All of the major cities have a wide selection of accommodation including hostels, apartments and hotels.

The hotel is very close to the Botanical Garden, the Rogier, the shopping zone and other attractions. My room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was perfectly clean. The hotel has a restaurant on the ground floor and a rooftop bar, but these are not noisy. I have already booked a room to return here in June.

It was a fast booking for one night before returning home and I didn't expect anything, but this apartment really won me over. It was super clean, stylish and cozy that I was wondered. Location also nice, close to the centre and railway station, I chose this location on purpose.
Bed was soft and comfortable, tea, beer and chocolate for complement were on the table and this is the level of hospitality.
Elevator works fine as well. A lot of towels were provided, I guess even more than I needed. Netflix included into room.
I definitely recommend this tiny cozy place.

Fabulous find. Jonathan our host was welcoming and accommodating. Offered breakfast at at time to suit. Each room is beautifully decorated in its own unique style. We chose the Victorian room which was immaculately clean and comfortable with an enormous bed. Jacuzzi was great after a long drive. Robes and slippers provided. Adjustable air conditioning and Netflix provided at no extra cost.

I travelled around the places featured in the film In Bruges. The hotel was excellent, but the city, restaurants, and boat tours were packed with tourists — make sure to book in advance. And that was on a Tuesday and Wednesday; I can hardly imagine what it’s like on the weekend. Ken and Ray apparently stayed in room 10 or 11, not 2x.
