It is a good location, and the metro is very close, Bolt goes often in this area. great staff. the rooms are newly reconstructed and beautiful, with a lot of space, and the kitchen has a fridge, it is spotless everywhere. There are a lot of small stores and restaurants in the area. we already returned from our trip to Porto.

The hotel is located within walking distance from some very important historical landmarks (the Lisbon Cathedral, Saint George's Castle, the National Pantheon, the Rua Augusta Arch, etc.) and quite close to the main Rossio square. You have quite a lot of restaurants nearby, although transportation around Alfama (other than a couple of trams, including the historical 28E, and a bus to the castle) is relatively scarce. However, it wasn't an issue to get around on foot. While the hotel is in a very touristic area, the rooms are very well soundproof and you won't be bothered by the noise on the busy streets around. I'd say the rooms are about the right size (not too big, not too small), really comfortable, squeaky clean and the breakfast at the hotel was very good (quite a lot of options). The welcome gift (custard tarts, Ginja liqueur and a hand painted tile) were a lovely detail. To top it all off, the personnel was incredibly kind and helpful. Every single one of them. I think it is the best hotel I've have stayed in so far! If you are planning to go to Lisbon, you can't go wrong with them.

I recently had an incredible stay at Dos Reis by Beautique Hotels in Lisbon, and I can't praise it enough! From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome from the staff made me feel right at home. They were always friendly and eager to assist, which truly enhanced the experience. The room itself was a dream - beautifully decorated, and exceptionally comfortable. I found myself wanting to spend more time there just to soak in the cozy atmosphere. The location couldn't be better; it was conveniently situated near some of Lisbon's best attractions, making exploration a breeze.

We chose Nicola Rosario Hotel due to its location, and were still surprised of how wonderful it is located. It’s quiet, but yet has a perfect location. Our rooms had a beautiful view over Rossio plaza and to the Castel. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome, with a drink and little Portuguese pastry. The room and hotel has always been very clean. Even while it rains, they handled the situation well. If we decide to come back to Lisbon, we will stay here again. Thanks for having us.

Great city for a long weekend, but could be challenging for less able bodied, due to being very hilly in places, especially the old area of Alfama, which also has lots of steps and uneven cobbled streets, and Bairro Alto, which is again hilly, but a lively area for nights out. Alfama much more laid back, but nice bar/restaurants and more traditional. We spent a week, which allowed for visits to Cascais, a very nice seaside town, and Sintra, ac UNESCO World heritage site, which is worth a day trip, but again may prove challenging for the less able bodied. Public transport and Uber proved good value, though, and relative to the UK food and drink was very reasonable.

Lisbon was such a great city to visit and I wished I was there for longer. There was lots to do whether you like shopping or sight seeing or historical things. It has some good nightlife spots too. Whilst we were in Lisbon, we took an easy forty minute train ride from Rossio to Sintra which was so beautiful. Some of the places we ate at included Pinoquio, Audrey’s, and Le Petit Cafe - all were lovely. The city also felt pretty walkable and easy to get around - even with all the hills!

Everywhere we went including hotel, restaurants, excursions, shops, buses, and Uber we experienced friendly helpful people. Never was our Portugese language illiteracy an issue and we tried to communicate with help of a translator app that was appreciated but not at all necessary. The 7 hills offer exceptional vistas and we got our steps in walking to a number of them. Finding the train station escalators near our hotel saved us some hill climbs. Dining and people watching from the open air sidewalk cafes and restaurants was delicious and intriguing.

We went in the middle of August so we knew it would be busy, but it was crowded. A little bit too much for my liking. I think i underestimated Lisbon as a major tourist city in Europe. But everything was amazing. We have booked things ahead and so did not had to wait long, you can have amazing food at any corner, but avoid the central places, there’s small restaurants that wont charge you a kidney and are just a few steps away from major streets.

If you like cafe's, bars and small boutique shops, for a range of tastes and prices, it's a great place to explore. The views are awesome, and the museums and public buildings are great. It is very hilly and the traffic is quite busy, but public transport is excellent with good trams, buses and tuk-tuks in the city, and some trains running quite late. The river is lovely but you need to take public transport to the beaches (not too far). Everyone we met spoke English well. If you are looking for nightlife, there are many small bars all over town, and a couple of busy areas designated for later revellers.

Hotel is nice and clean. It's modern..the indoor pool was very expensive to use it was €37 for two people and two swimming hats and it was freezing cold. Location is a bit outside of the main center but its very cheap to get a taxi. Good food is very hard to find in Lisbon. Unless you like seafood you are going to be hungry. Hard rock cafe was probably the best food we found. Lisbon is a nice place very clean and alot of nice buildings and monuments.
