      The staff members were very nice, always having a little chat and recommendations for tourist destinations. The breakfast was very good and the room was spacious and clean. I also really enjoyed the charm of the hotel. The proximity of subway made it easy to go to Santa Monica Beach as well as to Hollywood.

      Location was amazing! Best part of the property. Breakfast was great and delicious. The headboards that backlit helped the rooms ambiance… as well as make the property feel a little less outdated.

      The rooms were small and outdated. Particularly the bathroom. The worst part is the metal brown doors to the room that practically burned you every time you entered and exited the room in the heat of the day. I would suggest painting a lighter color to reflect the sun. Outside of property is not welcoming but the inside of the room helped redeem that somewhat.

      Shuttle to JFK was the reason I stayed here, the bed was comfortable.

      The complimentary breakfast was very limited. The stairs out of lobby made carrying luggage difficult. Generally the decor and facility was very dated.
