My stay at this AC Marriott was very disappointing. The service was consistently poor, with broken promises on two separate occasions. The staff—from the front desk to valet—showed little urgency or sincerity in resolving issues. The only positive was the hotel’s location near Canal Street and Bourbon Street. However, of all my experiences with Marriott hotels, this was by far the worst. The lack of urgency, communication, and basic customer service was unacceptable. I would not recommend this property and will not return.

My stay at this AC Marriott was very disappointing. The service was consistently poor, with broken promises on two separate occasions. The staff—from the front desk to valet—showed little urgency or sincerity in resolving issues. On our first night, the bed sheets had a red mark. We called and were told new sheets would be sent, but they did not arrive until 2:00 a.m. Even after reminding the front desk, we were told they would be ready upon return. Instead, we had to sit in the lobby for 40 minutes waiting. The following morning, valet service was extremely slow. We requested our car at 10:20 a.m. for an 11:00 reservation. The valet attendant made no greeting and showed no sense of urgency. By 10:50, I went to the front desk and spoke to Deon, who assured me he would notify valet to cancel the request. That communication never happened. Both my Uber and my car arrived at the same time, nearly causing me to miss my reservation. I would not recommend this property and will not return.

I fell in love with this place the minute I saw the balcony. I couldn’t believe it, It was like I hit the jackpot. I had coffee on my balcony. I had wine on my balcony. I sat on my balcony at midnight at 2 am. I have never had a balcony in a hotel less than $200 a night, never. The food was OK. The staff was nice but the balcony that did it for me.

Breakfast wasn’t complimentary and with what I paid plus what was offered on the website I was very disappointed and feel like I was horribly misled.

Also, one of the amenities was that the hotel is pet friendly. The hotel doesn’t have dog friendly areas such as a dog park or a reciprocal for dog waste. I was charged $100 in addition to my hotel fee. I did not know of this fee and the receptionists told me that the $100 is told to travelers upon check-in. I will not stay at this hotel again.
