Perfect location, just off the beach. 100 yard walk to the sand. The place was spotless and very well appointed. Lovely kitchen with everything you need should you decide to cook. There is a coffee pot AND a Keurig. The bed and bedding were very nice with a perfectly placed ceiling fan above. There is a very large television which can be watched in bed, or from the sofa. There is a lovely patio in the front of the unit with seating for four. The two of us spent much of our down time out there. The umbrella has lights on it for sitting out in the evening. There is also a beach wagon full of chairs, umbrellas, etc. We didn’t need to avail ourselves of it, but next time we will know that we can leave our chairs and umbrella at home. The complex has laundry facilities and a lovely pool area. We’re already looking forward to another stay.

The hotel claims to be non smoking however lady to the left of us on main floor smokes like a chain smoker! There is no a/c I called front desk they told me to call police

There isn’t anything we didn’t like. If you are into staying at historic hotels, the Bullock Hotel is the place to stay.

The tele-staff was very annoying. I felt like I needed to leave a pint of blood after being interrogated by the remote desk clerk. I couldn’t understand what he was saying, then he kept questioning me to do something, that even the teleprompter couldn’t understand it either. He gave me a third floor room and I refused. When I made reservations, I requested a 1st floor, but he said he had none available, or something I couldn’t understand. When I asked for a refund, a nice local staff appeared out of nowhere and took care of things. The hand lotion was empty, there was limited hot water and very little body wash.

Dirty and unkept Jackhammers doing cement work right outside our window all afternoon. Floor was vibrating from the work just outside our room.
