The room was spacious (the bathroom alone was bigger than some hotel rooms we've used in London & NYC) and even luxurious. Very nice shared spaces and we even played the piano. The on-site manager was friendly and informative. Temperature, furnishings, and ambience all just right. The location was quiet even with the windows open (love the fresh air!) thanks to being a bit North of town) and the other guests were friendly. An easy drive into town We felt this was an EXCELLENT VALUE, a nice complement to our splurge experience w friends at (Michelin ⭐️⭐️⭐️) Single Thread

The shower in our room was new(?) and not installed properly and took some finagling to get right. A bit of confusion about checking in (info about the new key system only sent while we were driving up and booking.com alert didn't pop up on my phone). The breakfast was uhh, modest although I liked the coffee.

The property was one block from the boardwalk and beach. We had a private lot to park in very close to our room.

The description is not 100% on target. What we read about it was true of some of the rooms, but not all. We did have a porch to use…. But it was overlooking the parking lot. We were also confused about the bring your own sheets/ towels. We did bring our own sheets but when we were shown our room, the manager pointed out that it was fresh linens on the bed. I asked if we should take them off to put ours on and I did not get a clear answer. It says it is an extra few to use their sheets…. So that whole exchange did not make sense!!

The music in the lobby is horrible and way too loud. It is on while breakfast is being served. Maybe they hope you wiil lose your appetite. You will definitely lose your mind having to listen to the horrific noises.
