The hotel is overall OK as long as you understand that is not meant to be a fancy place and not over-expect. Location is great with plenty of parking available at the adjacent mall (for fee of course) and subway within short walking distance. The "lobby bar/restaurant" is awkward, but you have a vast selection of Asian cuisine places around from fancier to casual (I would personally stay away from the street food options). Most of the small, casual restaurants serve outstanding Asian food at decent prices.

They charged my credit card with $300 deposit for a single night (on top of the room rate), which they never returned. I discussed the deposit charge at check out and the lady at the front desk assured me it is just an authorization that will not get posted (common practice). 2 days later this very same deposit charge did get posted, along with the regular room charge. I did call the hotel, and they told me that they will credit the deposit charge within a couple of days, which never happened. I waited for a week and I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company to eventually get that deposit charge back several weeks later.

Clean facilities, friendly staff, hotel was really nice. Beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. Loved the wood floors.

Showers could use updated cleaning or adjustment to the pressure coming out of the shower head but it wasn't really a big deal.

The room/hotel description did not mention that the bedroom would be on a different floor than the bathroom. As seniors, we wouldn't have rented the unit had this been disclosed. Also, the beds were hard. Maybe mattress toppers would have helped. And, although the resort was not hard to find, the directions to our room in the "lodge" given by the front desk were incorrect. (Instead of going past the golf course, you need to turn into its entrance, then go along the driveway/parking area to the right of the entrance to get to the lodge.) Note: The damage deposit was $150 rather than $100, so the description of it should be updated.
