We got there, checked in. I went upstairs to the room, the toilet took 5 flushes so I went back down, told the front desk and asked for another room. He said that there were no reports of issues of a toilet problem. He said that since it was Friday night, he couldn’t guarantee of getting a plumber to look at it over the weekend. I asked for another room, and was told there was nothing available. He then said he could contact the owner but again it was Friday and may not be able to get a plumber. I had also told him it was very hot in the room. He told me they normally have the portable air condition running in the room for check in, but guesses they forgot to turn it on. He didn’t give us any suggestions on where we could get another hotel. I was able to find another place in Waitsfield. I asked the front desk to cancel our reservations. I just got the feeling that he didn’t believe me about the plumbing issue and didn’t give us any suggestions on places in the area we could stay.

The bathroom trash can was hidden in cabinet and we found used qtips on the floor behind the door that was gross. The wall outlet near AC unit was wet which was concerning.

Walking into the hotel and into the elevator to go to the fifth floor, where I walked out to music the bar scene couldn’t figure out where the front desk was…. to the right there was a desk with one person standing there where she called me over to say this was the front desk.
