The experience and the vibe of BARNETT were great. The staff was super friendly and wanted to make sure I was comfortable. The pool area and the mist coming from the fans overhead oh what a treat! 😍 The price of the rooms per night was very reasonable. It was a nice way to relax. I enjoyed my stay. I will be back.

The parking is somewhat of a problem. To find a parking space near by or pay $50 per night. I want to get information about Day pass during the week. I placed a call to the hotel and the automated system directed me to leave a message and that someone from the pool area would give me a call back. And that was a couple of weeks ago. I still have not received a call. Please direct me to someone that I can talk to to get information such as the cost per person, the hours of operation, and other rules and regulations for the poolside.

I loved everything about this place. The rooms are vey uniquely decorated. They are small but it is to be expected in NYC. The rooftop bar and restaurant are wonderful.

Hallway: carpet could have used some vacuuming. Room experience: The occupant(s) above our room were pacing back and forth and it felt like they were stomping their feet. The worst part is this was as happening at 3am! It woke me up. I went back to sleep and when I woke up at 7am, the pacing back and forth was still very evident. :(

I did not like that my entire suite was not clean. The balcony still had used cigarette butts and a pair of socks there. The front desk person sarcastically said, "Do you want me to go up there and clean it for you?" The balcony door is broken. We had to keep pulling it back and forth to open it. Remember, this is not a regular room it is a suite. There was also a mouse running around at night in the suite. Then I was charged double on my debit card. The excuse was that the system has been doing that, and we apologize. Which makes absolutely no sense. I guess their computers are alive and have a mind of their own.

Breakfast was good, lot of choices. Space did not allow for an all inclusive breakfast; grits, cold cereal, orange juice, fruit, etc.

No curtains on windows just shades. Lights from parking lot kept the room illuminated all night.
