Room size, though small, was better than the Ibis Hotel in Edinburgh. Room layout was good for a small room. Bathroom and Shower were more substantial as well.

Glaswegians are a really friendly bunch.
Glaswegians are a really friendly bunch. Glasgow is dirty and run down. Transport options are great, though Metro is poor.
Bus connection from Airport was expensive at £10each for a 20 minute journey. Come on Glasgow, places like Barcelona is 4euros for a 45minute airport express.
Lots of graffiti, litter, drunks and general grimy city. Much prefer Edinburgh. Signage to areas very poor. No tourist information boards, more a working city than a tourist one.

I hadn’t been to Glasgow for over 30 years.
I hadn’t been to Glasgow for over 30 years. While it still maintains a gritty working class vibe there has been many improvements to the cultural aspects of the City
For sporting fans who want to enjoy some footie without the hustle and bustle of Rangers or Celtic I recommend an enjoyable visit to the friendly folks at Partick Thistle FC
The people of Glasgow have not changed since I last visited. Extremely friendly and generous. The Pub culture still exists and I highly recommend stops at The Scotia and The Horseshoe. Quality beers on tap and excellent atmospheres
Getting around Glasgow and surrounding areas is super easy. Numerous local bus options and Scot Rail Stations in the City Centre. For those travelling to Edinburgh…use Glasgow Queen Street. Trains run every 15 minutes and take less than an hour

Our bathroom was very grubby the tap in the bath did not work properly so the water coming from the shower was
lukewarm and the tap had very hot water coming from it at the same time so therefore our feet were getting burnt. Don't think the room was worth the money I payed.
The staff. We had the most fun with the restaurant matrody, bar tenders, and kitchen staff after the other guests had left the bar area. They are an amazing group of people. They gave us great advice about what we could do on our rainy last day in Scotland. We had a wonderful journey in Scotland and met so many amazing people. These were some of the most memorable. Thanks for the wonderful stay. The people really do make Glasgow great!
Amazing location (affordable Duke St car park near by and close to train/subway station), great for walking into the city centre or in our case, the Barrows. Staff was more than friendly and my partner and I enjoyed the free welcome drink. The room was perfectly clean and got cleaned and re-stocked with towels for the second night we stayed (not all hotels do that). Nice shower room and comfy bed, room did not feel too small either.
Came to glasgow to celebrate hogmany.
Hotel was within reasonable distance from venue, staff were so accomodating, hotel was immaculate
And room was stunning and had an amazing view of the clyde.
Right at city centre for shopping, eating etc
Cldnt have asked for any more.
Great value for money
And intend on installing the clayton hotel app after this stay.
Happy new yr and thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!
Went to Glasgow to attend a gig. The location was absolutely perfect, walking distance to just about everything useful in Glasgow. The hotel itself was really smart, modern and clean. The rooms were modern, clean and for being City Centre, it was quiet, and the staff were all polite and happy to assist with anything. Thoroughly impressed with the hotel and will definitely use again.
Good view of the river, the bar is nicely placed on the riverside. Good bar and attentive staff. We came in from the airport via the airport express bus and was easily able to walk along the river from the Glasgow city centre. There are also bus services to the hotel so without the need of a car it's fairly easy to get too, comfortable rooms, although they ran a little hot.
Breakfast a good start to the day as usual. Meals have a limited menu but understandable at present. Hotel clean, social distancing and sanitiser points. Rooms dated but clean and comfy. Parking not cheap £10/day but come with easy road links in and out of Glasgow. Easy access to city centre or IKEA and the Braehead centre if shopping
Very clean hotel, shower was amazing!! comfy beds and nice big rooms, we was upgraded on arrival to a room with a connecting living area on the 11th floor with some amazing views. Pool area clean and tidy. Within walking distance to the Hydro and SECC in Glasgow. Cheap car park also for being in the city centre. Would 100% go back.
This was our second stay at Yotel and, thankfully, this time our shower door didn't open straight into our room! Dignity intact! Whether this was based on our last review or not, we were given a much larger room, with two separate sections. The hotel is located perfectly in city centre Glasgow and the Vega bar is great.
Perfect city centre location right next to central station, rooms were small however had everything you could need. The hotel was spotless and everything ran seemlessly, check in and check out was done electronically which was straightforward. Excellent value for money, would definitely return.
Giving it a 10 because I paid £43 for a single room (they gave me a double) for a more than adequate hotel smack in the city centre on an event night. Staff were super friendly, tea & coffee, iron, hairdryer, nice bar area downstairs. All good.
The hotel is in the city centre area of Glasgow and was very easy to find. The only thing I didn't find too convenient was that there was no kettle provided in the hotel. However, you can go to the front desk and ask the staff for hot water.
Excellent location for Glasgow City centre.
Good bus service. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very cold 🥶 Staff did help when asked about our room temperature, but had to ask every evening.
Comfortable bed & pillows in a good sized room.
Car park, with discounted parking, right across the road was very handy for central Glasgow.
Good price for city centre hotel in good location.
Room, staff, location, dinner was great. Breakfast was not that great, seamed more like a cheaper hotel breakfast bar. Probably worst breakfast during our whole Scotland trip.
Fantastic well run hotel, exceptionally clean and comfortable room and breakfast room excellent, close to City Centre, will definitely stay again if I visit Glasgow
An imposing classic grand hotel adjacent to Glasgow's main railway station. Comfortable rooms ! Well located because you are immediately in the city centre.
