- From $298.51 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,239 reviewsThis place is an absolute gem and offers excellent value for money. It’s located in a stunning spot right on the loch, providing beautiful views. The cottage was spacious, impeccably maintained, and spotlessly clean. It had everything our family of four needed, including a well-equipped kitchen. The spa and pool were wonderful additions to our stay. A special mention goes to the staff—everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. In particular, Wanda, the receptionist, went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience.Guest review byNivIsrael
- From $182.78 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 369 reviewsBreakfast was delicious with home made granola, and bread with lovely home made jam. The full scottish breakfast was superb. The conservatory was a beautiful place to eat and to view the gorgeous well kept garden (to which guests have access). The house has been beautifully furnished and much thought has been given to the interesting art. The hosts go absolutely above and beyond to make their guests comfortable and nothing was too much trouble, even down to the variety of gins in the honesty bar! Would definitely recommend.Guest review byHeatherUnited Kingdom
- From $169.24 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,893 reviewsI stay at Kilconquhar Castle Estate whenever I visit Fife for work and golf. It is in a perfect location close to many of the top golf courses in the world. The staff are always personable, accommodating, and helpful. The villas, although a bit dated, are perfect for golf holidays with a group of friends. We loved having the three-hole warm-up area available before hitting the links, as most Scots do not warm up before playing. The bar is a great place to unwind after a day on the links. I highly recommend the estate.Guest review byRichard P. AttishaCanada

Take the city tour bus to gain a feel of the different areas, it’s a great way to get to the ‘must see’ places. The Kelvingrove museum is amazing with a brilliant organ recital at 1pm, I had lunch here then later on tea and cake - both very tasty. Transport museum worth a visit too. Glasgow is an easy city to walk or travel round. Buchanan Galleries a great shopping mallGuest review bySupercoolUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Some lovely old buildings, fun to watch the busy port right in the middle of town. Interesting view of oil rigs a couple of miles off the coast. It would certainly have repaid a longer stay. Aberdeen is a pedestrian friendly town and seems to have a more than adequate bus service.Guest review byJohnUnited States - 10.0

I love Fort William, the area with the Loch right in front is stunning. There are some great little pubs to eat and have a drink, and a good amount of restarunts to choose from. There are hotels to B and Bs to stay. It is small with a lot of tourists from all over the world. It is a good base to drive and see some great country side.Guest review byWilliamUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Very friendly people. Spoke to several other visitors who were also enjoying their stay. Several good eating places and good variety of shops. Excellent transport choices from local buses, trains and taxis. Good ferry trips at a reasonable price. Staff in shops and restaurants have a very helpful and polite attitude and seem to be happy in their jobs.Guest review byAllan - 10.0
Amazing!
Amazing! A must see place full of history and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Didn’t want to leave. Stunning views from the top of Stirling Castle, Stirling Jail’s Observation Tower and the William Wallace Monument. Free shuttle bus every few minutes up to the monument and free to view from the outside. All historical attractions worth a visit for the view as well as the history. Stirling old town available to see on foot. Easy distance from restaurants and pubs too. Lots of nice restaurants to choose from. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Scotland. Allow 3-4 days and allow 2.5 hours for Stirling Castle.Guest review byKEVINUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Aviemore has a great buzz about it – a proper gateway to the Cairngorms with a strong tourist vibe that makes it feel lively year-round. The high street is packed with outdoor shops, from big names like Ellis Brigham and Tiso to smaller independents, so whether you’re after hiking boots, ski gear or a new waterproof, you’re well catered for. There’s also a good mix of cafés, pubs and restaurants, which keeps the place welcoming after a day outdoors. It’s the kind of town where you instantly feel in “holiday mode,” with a steady flow of visitors giving it energy without losing its Highland charm.Guest review byAndyUnited Kingdom
