  You are paying for the location. It is the best place to view both the lighthouse and the ship coming in everyday. Only thing this place has going for it.

  Where to begin with the problems with this place? The beds were low quality. Sure, the rooms were newly "remodeled"...fresh coat of paint and new floors. Up arriving, I realized why they are newly remodeled. Some sort of flooding or water damage had to have happened there. There was significant MOLD on the wooden stand that holds the suitcases. Unacceptable. Mold is damaging to your health and we were not paying cheap rates for this room. There was constant humidity and the room's dampness actually felt better when the screen door was open, so the humidity is not because the room is near the lake. Something is wrong with this room. I guess I should have known there was a water issue with the beds being on risers. This place is way over priced to deal with mold! Also just fyi if you book through Booking.com expect the front desk person to try to avoid giving you a receipt because you "have to get it from booking.com". Not clean and not good customer service end of story.
