Perfect spot for enjoying downtown Los Angeles. The home was spotless, airy, and had a trendy design that felt very welcoming. We loved being able to walk to so many unique local spots in the Arts District. The host was friendly and quick to respond to our questions. Everything about this stay was excellent.

The hotel was great! The location was perfect. The staff was great. The pool was awesome. We got two family suites on the first floor with a balcony. It was great and the rooms were spacious.

Access to lake was nice and the kayaks were an added bonus. Very quiet neighborhood and the decks were appreciated. Fast WiFi and kitchen had the essentials.

Bathrooms are semi-private (shower curtain for a door!) and both bathrooms require climbing stairs from the main living floor. Showers are an after thought to the oversized jacuzzi tubs and getting in and out of them is dangerous when wet, especially the lower level one as water pools on the plywood around the tub. Stairs to loft and bathroom have no balusters and seem unsafe, especially for children. While it can sleep up to 8 people, the bathroom situation would make cohabitating with that many untenable. Beds and bedding are old and in need of an upgrade. House is cluttered with owner’s books, photo albums, pictures, DVDs, VHS tapes, CDs, clothes , etc. making it feel more like staying at a relative’s house for free rather than paying top dollar for a vacation rental. We expected some rustic vibe from a lake house, but we were very disappointed in the lack of thought, updates and basic functionally of this house and feel it’s overpriced even though it’s on the gorgeous Lake Skaneateles.

Felt the entire property needs updating/remodeling. Our room totally lacked in electrical outlets which was a problem for my husband and his C-pap machine. The lightning was also poor and not adequate. Breakfast was disappointing as well.

Wi-fi was very slow, breakfast area was too tiny and they didn’t serve eggs for breakfast although it says continental breakfast in the description, the smell in the room was also not good.
