Ceiling leaked in the middle of the night from overflowing toilet had to be because it smelled like straight urine and feces of course leaked Onto my belongings and I told the staff on the clock multiple times what had happened but they didn't care one bit all they wanted to know is when I would be out of the room totally inconsiderate. I was having to wash out clothing items and clean up my suit case from toilet water being leaked onto it I was needing a few more mins before I was ready to check out after the 4th time having my door banged on and one of the lady's once again yelling through the door reminding me how it was time to check out that they had the room reserved. Burn marks all over the bathroom visible spots on the comforter have to remove everything but the sheet each time I have stayed at this location. Everything has a film on it like tacky almost like

Beautiful hotel and rooms. Well appointed, great staff, and the layout was perfect. Amazing patio and views. The layout was perfect for a group with a great dining area to share meals and socialize. Number of elevators ensured that there was never a wait. The pool, restaurant, and bar are beautiful if you don’t feel like going out.

Needed in apartment instructions for where to bring garbage, a few more towels, and dish cleaning supplies (dishwasher and laundry pods), and toilet paper.

We picked this hotel for its convenience and its history and it did not disappoint on either score. It has a lovely historic feel and it is right in the centre of town so very convenient for restaurants and shops (and the train) It also has free parking on site. The front desk staff went out of their way to be helpful.

Noise from the room above made it difficult to sleep, as there was frequent stomping late at night and early morning for hours. Parking can be a bit tricky, but manageable.

Location. Place in room with Murphy bed folded in. The bed alcove. The new bagel shop downstairs. Terrace is nice.

Laundry facilities down, only found out after booking. Were able to get one wash for free but that didn’t make up for the lack of these facilities during our multiple day stay. It was the main reason for us to book this property. Also there was blood on the curtain next to the alcove, pretty disgusting. So part of the curtain next to your head. The ‘sofa’ is barely usable as so uncomfortable (it folds in to make the Murphy bed) and there is no table in the standard studio.

The breakfast was good but not what you expect. Also you pay 40$ for “included breakfast”. It’s not. Because we ended up paying full price plus breakfast is a restaurant and typical price was 60$ for 2 people so that was very dissatisfying

We enjoyed the location and proximity to the beach. We used the pools at the outrigger. We enjoyed having a patio to enjoy our breakfast. The beds were comfy.

Our couch had broken springs that made it uncomfortable in some spots. Our dishwasher seemed broken and the racks were rusted and chipping. after we called we were told we could still use it. We did and it started smelling of smoke. Some of the more hidden areas were not clean - spots on the ceiling, blue marks on the wall behind the bathroom door, etc. we had a missing door handle on the outside of the patio door, the closet doors were hard to open and close, some of the dresser drawers were not installed properly and were hard to open/close. There were only two small towel racks in the bathroom - we had more.than two towels to hang. It seems like each room needs a maintenance person to come through and fix small things. That would improve it greatly without a complete renovation.
