The inn is beautifully maintained, with charming decor that perfectly captures the spirit of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. A truly and peaceful and rejuvenating experience.

I was disappointed by the lack of nearby amenities. There are no supermarkets or restaurants within a convenient distance, which made it difficult to grab a quick meal or pick up essentials without having to drive quite a bit.

Garbage truck rudely wakes you up everyday at 4am. The hotel is opposite the court so at 7:30 if you’ve managed to go back to sleep you will be woken up by blaring sirens bringing a fresh bus load of prisoners for trail. They advertise as having coffee and tea facilities. You can only get coffee in the room. There is no room service, no porter, no breakfast included. There is currently a task force and it’s no surprise why. I kept hearing the excuse we’re new hence the problems. The staff on the ground are lovely it’s the management that needs changing.

Marijuania smell is atrocious, couldn’t adjust a/c any cooler than 72, hot corridors on floor, floor was wet by the a/c, outside doors from parking lot are not locked at night and one doesn’t shut completely

This hotel advertised free WiFi, but it never worked. The TV couldn’t connect to WiFi, so we couldn’t cast anything from our phones or watch on YouTube or Netflix. There was hair on the bed, and the linen smelled so bad that it was obvious it hadn’t been washed. There was no washing machine on-site, and when we asked the hotel staff for towels, they told us we’d have to wait until later because all the towels they had were dirty. The pool was absolutely disgusting! The pool room smelled so bad and felt like it had no ventilation. The moment you walked in, you got a headache. The pool was filthy, and the water was very dirty.
