I liked that the hotel was close to the beach and restaurants. I also liked that you could borrow beach wagons at no additional charge.

The room was not very clean, especially the shower. I would also not sit on the couch in the room, it doesn't seem like it ever gets cleaned or wiped down. The bed was as hard as a rock. During our first night, the power went out at 1:30 am and they didn't get it back on until 6:30 am. Might not be a big deal to some during that time, but I sleep with the TV on. It also made our microwave keep beeping, so we had to unplug it. When I called down to the front office, the guy could only tell me that "maintenance is working on it". I also hated that the parking lot was right in front of the rooms. The people next to us smoked in front of our room and threw their cigarettes in front of our door. They also decided to back up their truck in front of our room and cook on their tailgate, being loud for hours. If you're ok with noise and an unclean room, this is the place for you, but we definitely won't be back.

We arrived a bit early and were told the room wasn’t ready yet — no problem, we knew check-in time. They got our IDs and did a pre-check in. But when my husband asked to use the bathroom, they said they didn’t have one. Later, we saw there are bathrooms on the first floor. What was the issue? We weren’t random people off the street — we were soon to be guests checking in! Poor him, we had to drive to a mall just so he could use the bathroom. Also, the first floor is a nightclub. The noise isn’t terrible, but you can definitely hear it if there’s nothing else on in your room. And getting to the room is kind of inconvenient since you have to go through the nightclub to get there.
