Honolulu, Hawaii

Location is excellent. It had everything we needed in the unit, especially the kitchen, including rice cooker, cooking oil, strainer to wash veggies, decent sized oven we used to bake sweet potatoes and reheat leftover roasted duck. It has a boogie board, some Snorkel Mask Sets, a beach chair, I could enjoy swimming while my partner was sitting and watching me, it’s just perfect, it was just minutes walk to Waikiki beach. Downstairs there is a cute sushi place, the food was excellent with reasonable pricing.

The AC was a little loud for some ppl like my partner, I was okay with it; There is no freezer in the fridge, we had to go downstairs to the pool area to get ice, not a huge deal.
Valdez, Alaska

This is one of the cheapest hotels in Valdez. Expect what you get. No cable tv working. No towels or soap, had to go to the front desk and ask for them. There was trash left in the waste basket. We have stayed here before, but this was the worst . Not worth $170, there are other accommodations that are equal and cheaper, minus the “breakfast”. Look for big blue B&B on Galena.

Location was great. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Nice breakfast, very good coffee, fresh fruit. Bed was very comfortable.

Very worn and unusable chair in room. Online description did not indicate bath was not en suite. Window shade could not be raised after lowering it. Water turned cold during morning shower. Ceiling fan was covered in thick dust - would have been nice to be able to use it.

We stayed two nights. The staff did not make up the room or empty the trash the entire time we stayed. I would have at least expected some cleaning. Especially if they wanted a tip. Why would I tip for something I did not receive. I also thought the room was a bit dated. I realize this is a small thing but the toilet seat was an entirely different color than the toilet.
