The hotel space (bed/room/location) all made sense for what we paid. The staff was GREAT! Everyone was very nice, answered any questions we had, during breakfast hours the staff was always checking to see if anything was running low and needed to be filled.

The overall feel of the room wasn't as clean as I prefer, however, I would say that's just from the hotel being older. I think the rugs could do with a steam cleaning as my feet were sticking and I wasn't comfortable walking around without socks. The biggest complaint I have and the REASON that we checked out a full day early is the Parking. If their parking lot is full, you will be advised to park anywhere with meters - parking lot, on street parking, anything with a meter... the staff told us the meters aren't monitored at night and as long as the car was moved by 9AM "it would be fine" ... we did that for the night we had to, checked out, and then stayed at a family's house. Next time we will book elsewhere unfortunately. Again, the staff was great, but the cleanliness was OK, but the parking was the dealbreaker for us.

The property was very pretty. We were looking for more of a boutique style hotel and this is it. The pool are was perfect after a long hot day. The rooms were clean and decorated with class.

The room had 2 full size beds - for this hotel, and for 3 people, the rooms need to have 2 queen size beds. Full size beds do not sleep 2 people comfortably.

What I had a problem with is that they are trying to charge me for a tv that I didn’t even touch with no proof . I travel quite often and have a blog where I review places I go , places I stay, tours I do etc . I decided to take my two sisters to the Blue Ridge Mountains for the weekend to some swimming holes . They love to swim after all. The WiFi was pretty crappy at the actual hotel . They are addicted to their tablets and TikTok before they sleep. Well I told them it would be okay and the actual stay was decent , other than the WiFi , but I do not appreciate the random 424 dollar amount they have on my card saying we cracked the tv when we didn’t even touch the tv . Why watch tv when we have our Netflix on our tablets and TikTok ? I stated to them this fact and they are stating they will look into it but that they believe we damaged it . I’m really shook up about this because I live in a small rural town and save up every dollar I can muster to go enjoy the great outdoors and what the world has to offer . This amount is literally almost my whole paycheck for a week . It really hurts . I am an avid guest like I mentioned before at countless other places and never had any issues like this .
