The best part about this room was the view. We enjoyed the lanai view of Waikiki, Diamond Head, and a few rainbows. The room had kitchenware to make some of our own food. We rented a car and parked on-site, so it was easy to rest in between activities. It was in walking distance from beach access and the Royal Hawaiian Center.

The bed was worn. There were indentations on each side of the soft mattress. There were only 2 wash cloths provided for two people for a 7 night stay. I asked for more, and they sent a price menu for towels. They did bring us two more wash cloths at no cost, but I thought that interaction was a bit odd. Maintenance staff entered our room due to a water leak below us. He asked if we filled the bathtub that morning, and I said no. He said, "Don't lie to me." I found that quite odd. We had taken showers, and that's exactly what I told him.

The staff, both at check in and especially the gal who services the breakfast cafe’. She does a thorough job. She also is a great help with waffle maker and keeping up and replenishing hot food etc.

I wouldn’t stay here again. The $250 security deposit is higher than the nightly rate, which already felt overpriced for what you get. The room was really small, with uncomfortable pillows and no TV at all. The bathroom had a sliding door that didn’t offer much privacy, and there were visible cracks in the wall that made it feel unfinished and a bit run down. For the price and the steep deposit, I expected something much more comfortable and thoughtfully designed. Definitely not worth it in my opinion.
