    - “Staying on this particular canal on a houseboat was perfect. There was a lot of boat traffic and friendly people passing by while we had food and drinks on the small outdoor balcony. The location is a block or so from a Metro stop and a grocery store is around the corner. The hosts were friendly and helpful. There were three of us- my husband, me and our college-aged daughter- we had ample room and it’s a lovely interior. We will stay there again.”

      You never really know what you're getting into when you stay at a place that is pet friendly. With that being said.... No odors, no fleas, no hair everywhere. I loved how I didn't have to check in, you just get a code messaged to you and it'll unlock the door for your stay. The people around were actually really quiet and friendly, I didn't hear much of anything.

      The air conditioner seemed to have an attitude. It didn't seem to operate properly on eco mode but it's also possible that it was me. I can't call it.

      Did not care for the breakfast, the food was limited. Not like the continental breakfast we are used to to.

      I enjoyed our stay at The Outrider! I like that we were able to enjoy Broadway (10 min drive) for the touristy pubs but also enjoy hot spots within walking distance. It’s within walking distance to Haraz coffee shop (my fav), BarTaco, and Buds & Brew which we all enjoyed.

      The 2nd floor was much warmer than the others. In addition, the light on the balcony didn’t work. Not anything that would keep me from booking a room here again.

      I had neighbors next to me arguing in the parking lot that woke me up at 2 am and there were more cars than rooms so I Had to look for parking.
