I came with my mom and brother and we stayed in a Japanese style room and opted for the public onsen, which we used at night after dinner. There were probably only 5-6 women in there at the time, not crowded or busy. I wasn't expecting much, but the dinner and breakfast buffet were a pleasant experience, especially since we didn't feel like going out of our way to find a good food place in Hakone. It's an absolutely beautiful hotel as well and the people helping us at the front desk offer great service and spoke English well, which made our experience so easy. As a budget traveler, I was a little nervous to spend $350 for a night here, but it was worth the money and experience. (And of course, everything was clean, functional, etc. Just assume the bare minimums are easily covered).”

  One of the cleanest hotels we've stayed at in a bit. Queen beds (2) were quite comfortable & we had no issues with any external noise (although 2 of us did sleep w earplugs because of #3's snoring, so hopefully, she didn't keep any other guests awake 😆). Location, right off I-575, very convenient with basically every type of service, food, etc. very close by.

  Wifi was basically non-existent(!) & hotel feels like it's in a cellular dead zone. Such poor cell coverage on 3 different major carriers, that we couldn't utilize our phones' service/functions in lieu of the hotel's non-functioning wifi. Outdoor pool highlighted in all ads & on booking sites, but failed to inform it wasn't open for the season (mid-May, been 90°+ for weeks). No in-room coffee pot, and "Free Breakfast" left a lot to be desired. Basically toast, cold cereal, juice & coffee. I recommend going to the very nearby IHOP! Never been disappointed there.

  This property is centralized to both Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and Gatlinburg. It was awesome to pull up, get out, and go into a well maintained unit. I'd definitely consider staying again.

  A floor lamp would be a bonus in the living room. With the ceiling fan light on the glare can overpower the TV. That is of a very minor importance.

  $50 a day to park and we had to wait over an hour to get our car. Attendant was rude and inefficient. Great hotel, terrible parking situation. Hint: Park across the street for $35 and get your own car.

  It was dirty socks left behind the chair as soon as we walked through the front door, the top oven didn't work properly. It was dead bugs in a few of the rooms. When you walked into the main house, it had a bad smell. The master bedroom is downstairs, and some door locks didn't work.
